Dang... I didn't realize that it had been that long sence I posted anything about this.... (hadda go all the way to "Look up all post sence the begining"....) Still working on modifying these rules....... and they are cool.... 1. they are good rules.... 2. they are free.... I'm modifying them for other than legos...... but this is the base for my "Pyrate Wars" game that I wanna run at Ojai next Sept.............. And even If you don't care....... I wanted this somewhere where I could find it again...... (but outta fairness.... if you like wargame rules..... I will make it worth you effort.... or something like that............)

Worked my aaaaaa....... OK worked hard today.... got th' Samauri bear's armor finished, and the Rebel finnished just in time for shipping............. then stopped at my Bosses restaurans...... was going to work on the dragon on the wall...but she didn't get the pens that I needed.... so I could only drink rum..... Well did get the lanterns set up for her.......... So had a good day.................... (but a nice single woman right now wouldn't hurt..............)

I have a lot of music saved as mp3's ...... can play them on the pewter.... so listining to the last track of Pirates of the Carribean........ just happened at this time............

Not the same.... but I made an interesting bottle...... I had a flat "sculpy" skull that I made from a mould..... put it onna flat wine (myabe Almaden .... or something) bottle and covered it with wet leather.... as the leather dried I kept "poking" at it to form the skull in the front of the bottle..... worked out cool..... just wish I'd added some "tabs" to tie a cord to........ but the skull formed into the leather over the bottle..... looks cool.....

I still like Ojai in September......... to long of a drive to do two times a year..... and in Sept. its the kinda sorta Pyrate faire....... (never gone in Spring.... so I could be wrong........)

I was havin' some thoughts on Justicourps (The coat shown in the photos) (also French for tight fitting.......) OH Yah.... this is more Capt. Twill.......... As "working clothing" it just dosen't work.... but as show off swag..... aaaargh they do look nice..... the fancyer and more trim, the better........ (to much Howard Pyle... but they DO look sooooo Pyratie................) and dang.... they do look cool (ok they are hot... but "beauty is pain") All the buttons.... the trim.... (and you can never put on to much.... look at the real Period ones...... they were covered with trim) I still like the idea of a realy fancy justicourp.... with two crudely sewn on patches on on the front and one on the back...... well where do you think I got such a fyne coat.......... pyrate........ ( ok rattling now....) still a fun coat..... and I enjoy seeing the effort people have put into making thiers..........

The cool thing about "real" black powder guns...... even with No flint and powder (unloaded).... you still get hastled just as much as with Non-firing (or visa versa.....) But if you want to, you can fire them with a blank charge or with a live round..... (and they Look and feel..... just kinda "right"

Sorry... changing my post...... I was in a bod mood, and whatI typed distroys the "spirit" of this topic..... so I changed it to not mess up with the flow of the post...

Yah know.... the S.C.A. was fun...... (just avoid the poly-ticks..... some people realy love that.....) But the fun was because of a "Group insanity" (the good kind) Rendezvous were also fun..... but I always camped in the primitive camp.... (where we could "critisize" (that's to harsh of a word......if you've ever been to rendezvous you know what I mean..... ) the people in the "tin teepees" (Campers) Civil War reenactements were also fun..... the 14th Tenn. were authentics (and that was fun...) But playing Pyrate is MUCH MORE FUN.......... :angry: (I still refer to it as ..... "Fun Pyrate" for my semi-authentic stuff .... and "The Buccaneer Project" for my authentic stuff..........)

Right now , I feel very sad. What was just playfull "goofing around" has many people upset..... I also feel very sad for Iron Bess who is only doing her job as moderator. I do not think that there were any "bad intentions" by any of the post, but there are some "hurt feelings" and that also make me sad.... I know it will all get "worked out".... ..... "And Aaaaaargh, cause we are all pyrates" :angry:

OH..... I'm not having a problem thinking...... it's just that my thinking has gotten a little bit ...... well.................................. risque...... Now how could that have happened...............

Was trying to think about a joke about "butterball turkey" but it just wasn't working out right.......
