Dang... I could get more work done, if my boss dropped off the fabric befor she went to see her mother..... so now I just finished re-arranging my bookmarks.... and printed out the letters so I atl east can get part of th' project done........

Cool.... I hadn't thought about any possible problems, and figured Port Royal was far enough away ..... but wanted to check.....

I make gifts also.... somehow I'm also always broke around Christmass....... but luckly this year I only have to make very few...... Hey... I still have a week to make 'em in...........

Went over to my bosses fer Sunday Bloody Mary's, and got shanghied inter setting up th' tree..... (she has one of the fake pre-wired ones...) but most of the lights were not working.... so thar I be..... checking lights...... aaah th' Holidays....... (the Bloody Marys' did kinda make up fer it tho........ )

I'm going to have to look up the passage again..... I thought it was ribbonS... so there would be one for each pistol...... I can't see how a bunch of pistoles on one ribbon would work.........

Hurricane... I was telling a friend about this, and they said that because of poverty, crime around Kingston is really high...... is Post Royal far enough and small enough, to make the chance of robbery "slight"..... or should we sharpen our cutlasses? Hey... it's bad in New York, New Orleans, and Miami also... but I figure it's better to be warned if it is true......

GoF.... when is he going to start making the shoes? (And when do you need the 50% deposite?) My brogans are starting to fall apart (the leather is tearing, so I can't resew or glue them back together again...... but hey...they lasted over 10 years....) But my cash flow gets messed up at times, so an aproxamate schedule of production so I can figure out if I can get a pair......

I just figured that the ribbons went over the shoulder... and then the other end was tied to the pistol, not so long that it gets in the way, but long enough that you can pull and fire the pistol, but not lose it..... I don't have any "documintation" on this... but playing with common sence. Hey... ain't that what "Experimental Archology" and "Living History" is all about......

I'd say Ojai in September..... There are a lot of Fairs in California.... but they are mostly Renn. with some Pyrates..... Ojai in Sept. is where you can meet most of the West coast Pyrates....... Note: I havent been to the (I think) Corona fair..... I think its sopose to be all Pyrate...... but I'm not sure

What threw me off , was that I could see all the way up the chimney.... and from the outside of the house, the spark arester looks black..... It wasn't untill I got up on the roof that I could see what the problem was...... What I can't figure out, is how THAT much carbon built up all around the wire mesh.... dang..... But it works now, so I can start wonderin bout other stuff......

Or using the parts from the kit, and modifing it into what you want.

YAH..... I got the dang fireplace working........ I took the whole thing apart.... checked and cleaned it out... looked up the chimney with a flashlight, and could see all the way to the top..... then climbed up on the roof...... and discovered that the spark arestor was compleatly solid with carbon...... poked it all out with a nail and cleared it...... then started a fire......... IT FINALY DRAWS.............

Yah... I figured 50-50 sounded fair.........

Hey, I've always been wierd...... hung out with some of the math guys (computers were kinda new.... go they weren't geeks yet....) and some of the drama dept. but mostly with a group of cartoonist....... Geek and nerd wern't used at the time.... but "Wierd" is how everyone remembers me.......

Dang fireplace... still smoking.... But I think I have it figured out....right now, when I light it, even with a well laied kindling base,(and flammible liquids....) it just wont start... if I open the door so it can get some air, the smoke billows out the thing (not up the chimney....) So tomarrow (when it's cool,) I'm going to drill a few holds at the base of it so it can get some air..... I'm going to get the (%*$&&%**#(((#$ ! to work one way or the other.....

I can't remember any bad gifts that I have recieved..... but I have a whole bunch of sweaters that other people didn't like, and gave to me.... (I just have to remember when NOT to wear some of them tho.........)

I got a copy through an inter library loan..... scanned the chapter on guns, but not on swords or the cartridge boxes..... sorry. I will have to post a picture showing how my holster works... I'm not sure if it's 100% period, but it sort of works... I still tie the pistole with a cord, It has fallen out at times, and I wouldn't want to lose my pistol. But I can draw, fire, and put it back into the holster very easly.

I think there was another picture in the Colonial arms book showing how the flap covered the pistol..... Also notice the spanner, bullet/ball pouch and horn, hung on the holster......

I wanna get a Pirates of the Carribean trailer, so I have something to haul alla my stuff in to events...... (sorry, I'm only on my first cup of coffee.........)
