  1. Alright, I cannot truthfully say wether a mug for $60 is reasonable, until I have seen what they look like. Pictures are needed. Duchess
  2. I've had a Thistle Leather jack for 10 years. I had it reshaped and sealed once after I fell off a balcony and landed on it. It doesn't flavor what you put in it, but also no hot things. So I'm not in the market for anything new.
  3. Well, see now the pressure is on. I've just been posting quotes as I watched movies, but now it's too early to have watched a movie today. Here's one I think I've remembered correctly. Guy 1: Have we anything like a plan? Guy 2. MMmhhmm. Ride like hell till we find them and then kill them all.
  4. hmm. That's a world war two thing, but I don't know the movie context of it. Duchess
  5. Boondock Saints Excellent movie! I've just put the documentary about Troy Duffy into my netflix list, can't wait to see what a foolish jerk he is. My quote above was from Four Rooms, Tim Roth as the bell boy says as he's describing his night at work to the boss. Duchess
  6. Spaceballs! I used to respect you. And now you show up and cannot use a dremel? How disspointing. They are great little tools. I admit to going into hardware stores and oggling the attachments and bits. To use: select bit, install. Plug in, turn on and use. I've used mine to fix chairs, alter cameras, make chain mail, engrave anything from my tool box to blown glass, make jewelry and many other things. I'm starting to sound like the suggestion book that comes with the tool! Duchess
  7. "What's the problem? I haven't got a problem. I've got f****** problems, plural. Wanna hear?"
  8. I don't know that one. I admit that I googled it, so I won't share the answer. I'm now off with the dremel and roll of buffalo nickels for some surgery. Duchess
  9. Thank you very much for the virtual nickel, a buffalo no less! It was the intro line that gave it away. And that movie was one of my favorites as child. So maybe a very limited font of useless movie knowledge... The context of the Screaming Tiger quote is a little unclear. (There is an awful lot that happens off screen in this movie) I think that the evil japanese guy had gone to china to learn chinese kung fu. But he fell out with his chinese master and so they met on a the beach to fight, but the master brought only a wooden sword. I think that the master was eventually beaten (but that happened off screen too) since the japanese guy went on to kill a whole village full of chinese people, and a dojo full of koreans. Duchess
  10. Here's another line from that same movie that also was changed. I don't know what they changed it to, though. "Let's show this prehistoric bitch how we do things downtown!" My very obscure quote was from a 1970's kung fu movie called Screaming Tiger.
  11. Where is the picture of said tankard? All I could find was more bottles. Duchess
  12. Nope, I haven't seen that movie. I'm going to throw out a second, quote that is too obscure, just for fun. Of course this is the translated version. "I've always admired you for a great fighter. And now, you show up with a wooden sword. How disapointing."
  13. Guy 1: "And, you know, he's got emotional problems, man. " Guy 2: "You mean... beyond pacifism?"
  14. Oh no! I missed that one, I would have to it! This one is I believe "My fair lady" Duchess
  15. Yep. Well I saw the version titled "Leon" but different cut, essentially the same movie. Duchess
  16. Mallrats! Here's one "Can we try with real bullets now?"
  17. Would it help if I told you I'm in graduate school for the one science that explains all other hard sciences (as opposed to soft sciences, not easy ones)? Duchess
  18. It's a Jet Li movie, Hero I think. I recently watched Evil Cult, which is a very good Jet Li movie, but has the worst translated subtitles I've ever seen. And I leave you with a quote that fairly succinctly (in conjunction with the movie) sums up my life to date. "It's yet another in a long series of diversions in an attempt to avoid responsibility." Duchess
  19. I'll guess here since I haven't seen the movie, Jerry Mcguire? Here's one: "I've got news for you, you ain't leader of but two things jack and shit. And jack just left town."
  20. Well, that one was Sahara. A movie that isn't really like the book, but is so true to the characters I was able to predict the lines. Duchess
  21. You're other quote was Kurasawa (sp?) But I cannot recall the movie. Duchess
  22. yep. That was Shaun of the Dead. I'm shocked I didn't get the Man from Snowy River. That was my favorite movie for years when I was little. Paved the way to a teen obsession with Louis Lamour novels, I suspect. Duchess
  23. Princess Bride. "you've got a spot of red on you."
  24. Good luck to you. I hope it sells well. Duchess
