  1. Aye, dunna like toast! But I do like dunkin' me biscuits
  2. Dorian, i'd be guessin' a day or so,as its not downwind, so the squares would be brailed, and the ship fore and aft rigged ,Gaff in my case. The trades would be to the starboard quarter. a good day in these ships average 100- 125 nautical miles
  3. Nay,lassie, they be around 350 lbs. apiece and the naval carriages. Dunno about postin' a picture, better wait a while, easier with email, don't know how to attach stuff on pyracy email! plus, ye'd hafta come north to board me, as there don't seem ta be a passage from t' sea to the site! I draw six feet......
  4. Can I shoot me cannons??? If so, why I'll throw one or two in the car(yea, right!)
  5. Them barrels hold hella big heat, might wanna wait a bit, yeowie!
  6. Being a tall ship captain, I have a bit o' trouble with a small glitch. When Jack and Will first heist the Interceptor, and Jack is explaining ' the way things are' to Will, a turn of the wheel thisaway and a turn of the wheel thataway jibes the brig's main boom striking Will. Not heavy air, to really fill the sail, and it coudn't happen as the wheel is controlling the rudder, the mainsheet controls the boom, and needs a hella strong wind to do that!, Small change, but oh well.
  7. Oh yeah! we forgot the important part! FIRE IN THE HOLE!
  8. :huh:Dixie is o.k. fer gun purchases, jest the other stuff!.
  9. We got yer foreplay coverd mate! Ye kin play with me starboard cannon barrel all ye want, 'fore I put the linstock to the touchole!!
  10. RRRRRRRRRRR! Ye've gotta past in the Royaliste birthplace! Halifax, 1755
  11. Naw! Spit that tobaky on me deck, and ye'll find out just how far the swivel guns swivel!
  12. Aye, Scarlett, I'm knowin' what ya mean! I had to go to Apache Junction for six months to assist rebuilding the turbines in the damn. Good people, but tooooo much sand and no beach RRRRRRRRR
  13. Ahoy Chhaya! I'm always coverin' the Guilds backside! If'n she don't email ya, email me and I'll forward it for ya mate! Them be cannon, or are ye just glad ta see me!
  14. Aye,lad. Smokin' be fer merchants, not privateers. cut plug fer deckhands.....,
  15. Most o' the Royaliste' misc. shootin' accessories come from Track o' the Wolf. Good folks from Minnesota, support 'em. Dixie has enough money, and three different pistols ordered to our harbor were messed up an they shipped cowboy guns to pyrates!
  16. Post 9/11 is tough on us who consume large quantities of black powder. Cannon grade, larger than Fg, is about 10.50 lb. in 25 lb. lots, fg to fffffg is around 9.50. That's average for mail order. On a local note. some Rogers Rangers have tipped me off to 24 lb./ 100$. Trying to get the Park Service to cut me in on their powder magazine(heh, heh) since it's their fort I fire on half the time. A lot of imported powder now. I still shoot yankee powder, yankee cannon, in short, death to all who tread thisaway
  17. Aye, mates. And the moon's effect on the tides only matters when ye' are tryin' to make port, not go aground doing so. Tides mean nothing to open ocean sailing on a square ship. They needed to sink the Interceptor, ta make room for the 'real' fastest ship in the Carribean, Me!
  18. Well, lass, if yer man be aboard the Lynx, ye might start lookin' fer a new one as I'm I sendin' her ta Davey Jones locker in Sept.!
  19. Where ye be Grace??? I'll offer ye up the same rolling deck and thundering cannon as me mate Claire! the Royaliste
  20. As my Jolly Roger was rather threadbare, my first mate drug out of his sea chest, a fine, old, hand-stitched Jolly roger that has flow over three notorious square-riggers before me. I am quite honored as it is patched and many moons old. Just like the black pearls. I' ve flown a small Edwin Teach flag from a burgee halliard, but the large one flies from my main, as Claire from Tales of the Seven Seas pointed out. I also fly a red duster, the original 'jolie rouge' ('blood red) as flown historically prior to 1700, the time at which 'black flags' began appearing. Gary, the Royaliste
  21. :huh:RRRRRR! an' that'd be a guild with amighty fine means o' transport, yep, you guessed it, the Royaliste
  22. As sort of general guideline,, we don't smoke on deck much anymore as with so much powder on deck, upwind is a dangerous place to be with a spark, just a spark
