  1. The lovely mermaid quotes Bruce Lee? In many ways, it does make sense, after one thinks about it.

"Costumes are the core of culture; therefore, performers without costumes stand out like rat droppings in clear soup." ~ Liberace

Yes, Bruce Lee :( I find him to be a very wise man, and I did not pick the quotes just for the water reference. The best part about his qutoes are that they mean different things to everyone.

My clothes may be funny, but their making me the money.~ Liberace

  2. Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.~Bruce Lee

Security is mostly a superstion it dose not exsit in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experince it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run, than outright exsposure. Life is either a daring adventure or it is nothing! ~Helen Keller

Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.~Unknown

  3. Thanks one and all for your support, and yes I did think that my book was about to be published, but no word came from the person who I talked with about it. So I guess for the most part that meand I am on my own, Well not all alone, God is on my side after all.

Thanks Again for all your help!

  4. *She swallows hard, "Captain, I thank you for coming to see me, no doubt the rumors reached you before Simon message did. . ." * a nervous giggle escapes* "Yes it has Kendra, and I must say I am rather taken back by it all. May I ask why?"

"I have seen too much death, even when I sleep

but instead of seeing the bodies that were before us just a few days ago. . .I see my own in their place and I am afraid, not for me, but for and the crew for each holds the other's life in their hands. . .and it is too much for me to bare upon my small shoulders." *Tears begin to well, quickly she wipes them so he dose not see.* "I Thought, because my father was a sailmaker that it too would be in my blood. . .however it is not. I hope you understand. And whatever the reprecustions are I will gladly accept them.

  5. *Her eyes were red and heavy from lack of sleep in the last few days. She had a decison. . .a decison that would change her life for ever, and now finally had the answer. "Simon would you please tell the Captain that I wish to speak to him when he has a free moment please."

"Yes, Miss Kendra." *Before he left with his task he gave he shoulders a gentle squeeze of reassurance

  6. Thank you all so much, I promise that I will e-mail or PM if I need anything. I do have so good news. The place where I get my therapy has now a webpage and I am on it!Healing The Generations If you watch the pics float in and out you will see me lying on a mat wearing red pants using a Chi machine. I will also be in the newsletter as well as one of my poems (it may not be there yet but will be) and they are also going to put my webpage cool or what! Things are starting to look up.

  7. This Documentry is not what you think. It is a bout parapalegic (I know I did not spell that right, and for that I am sorry) basketball players and what it is like living in a wheelchair, now I have yet to see it myself, my friend Dottie has, and she say it is really good, but the languge in the locker room is well. . .its a bunch of guys in a locker room. It is out on DVD or you can cath the Edited verson on A&E Feb 28 you will have to check your local listings for times.

The reason I mention this to all of you is, I know there are some who are curious as to how some one who is confied to chair lives thier lives. Now I would like to say that not every person you meet who hapends to be in a chair lives this way, but it will give you an idea.

    Alo: May I suggest:

    "Theroy of flight

    With Kenneth Branough

Great Flim wonderful story and very true to the feeling of what it is like (at least for me, and no it dosen't mean I am dying)

  8. An update: Talked with my Grandma, and she sounds, to be quite honest terrible. Not only dose she have a head cold, but she is really depressed. Two reasons:

    1. She has to stay in the nursing home a little while longer

    2. She will be (once she is out) moving out of her old home, the home I have known all my life as "Grandma's House" so you are talking almost 30 years, into a smaller home in town. So needless to say she is down.

I want to say that the move is not because of her accident. It is because the house is so old and it is hard for her to do the up keep to the home. So she has been thinking about this for awhile. It is just with the fall, it added to an already stressfull situation. So please pray that she stays strong and that God gives her peace in the midst of the storm.

My hip pain and muscle tone are getting worse, those of you that have CP know what I am talking about. I have to do something, now. So I am in the process of trying to get into the YMCA. THEY HAVE A HEATED POOL!! and the water would be good therapy for me. I guess I am a real mermaid after all. And yes we are still in the process to get the tub lift, and still no word.

  9. Once again, the most special man in my life, (my Dad)

got me a chocolate heart, the sweetest of cards, and finallt a tuna sub from subway. Who needs a good looking pirate, when you have a Dad that knows who to spoil his little girl! Happy Valentines Day everyone!!

  10. My prayers are with you both, and that I know God will give you strength to get through another day. I am feeling rather off, for the last few nights I have had some rezlly bad dreams, the kind that I wake up and am crying. I am not really sure where its coming from but needless to say I haven't been sleeping well.

  11. * Kendra stood motionless, keeping in her mind the less she moved the less "in the way" she was.

She gazed about the ship, with all the flurry of activity around it seemed more to her like a bunch or rats scurring about except one. . . Dr. Fitzgerald. She too had yet to leave her spot. In her face was grief to be sure, but there was also a tremendous sense of resolve in her eyes. Eventhought the sailmaker looked directly at her, she most assuredly did not see her or if she did her duties prevented her from acknowledgement in such a moment as this.
