Cap'n Slappy: Do you have any information on an Air Date for the episode? The website doesn't have any information yet.

The World Famous Ojai Pirate Festival
Black Hearted Pearl replied to Arthur Richards from Kent's topic in September
Time for a bump up, I say. -
Thanks for the heads up. Me mate and I were just talking about taking a family trip to me birthplace of Charleston, SC. Sounds like a good time to take the trip with the Challenge and all.

Charity, Love, what would the Barbosssa fan club at the pyracy pub be without you dear? Have a pint and let's talk about what Barbossa should be doing in POTC3. Like commanderring the Dauntless and sailing with Will as navigator. Will seems to know the right direction better than anyone else and Barbossa is too strong a character to be sailing under anyone else's command.

I often wonder if Ted and Terry throw this stuff out to see what pots its stirs. I'm not saying that is what happening, but it could be. I know one of the last rumors I heard was filming in the Great Salt Lake. If it's true, I hope they bring lots of incense. That lake stinks.

I know... wouldn't that be nice? Last time I saw the dog, he was sitting as chief for the natives on cannibal island.

Okay, I'm lazy and trying to catch up from being on vacation, so I didn't read the whole "script", just the last line. Even I know that it's cr@p as the fans of Barbossa would never let Will be Captain and Barbossa navigator. Charity, you should have caught that yourself.

A pirates of the caribbean birthday party
Black Hearted Pearl replied to Black Hearted Pearl's topic in Pyrate Pop
What's this? A party, you say? Just email the particulars and I'll see if I can get me ship out of port to yer island. I can't resist a pirate party. -
We took ours in February. And there are no plans to repeat that vacation anytime soon since it's the only "real" vacation we've taken as a family (oldest is almost 12 years old). But I like to remain optimistic. Maybe something miraculous will happen to allow us to go again. My hubby LOVED Castaway Cay; he didn't want to leave. My mate loved the Disney Cruise (talked him into 2 so far). We're planning another for 2008 before the boys get too old for Disney. I'm trying to talk him into Memorial Day weekend, 2007 (POTC 3 Priem'ear'). It's the airfare that's killer, so I'll have to have him work on the those frequent flier miles to make it happen in 2007.

Aye Captain, I see ye have yer all women crew onboard again. Good to hear that ye made it through the storms on the lake there. The storms be quite different from the ocean as the waves rock back and forth from shore to shore. When yer on yer way to Chicago, keep in mind the train ferry Badger makes her way from Kewaunee, WI to Lansing, MI just south of White Fish Bay. I believe she makes port in Kewaunee in the afternoons. Fair Winds and Calm Seas,

Black Hearted Pearl replied to Gentleman of Fortune's topic in Pyrate Pop
Pirates! Play nice or I'll blow holes in all your ships! I know, I know. You've all made up, but I couldn't resist saying it just the same. -
transplanted? Nay, I sail the winds to where ever it can take me. Border to Border, Ocean to Ocean. I want to see it all!

From the Disney Insider to Disney's FamilyFun E-zine: Do you have a little pirate at home? Someone who just can't get enough of hidden treasure and the high seas? If so, then you've found the place to satisfy his or her swashbuckling ways. Below you'll find parties, games, cakes, crafts, and more -- all in your child's favorite theme. It's Pirate Time, Mateys!

I have to agree. I'm betting that Zimmer didn't think the first was going to be successful and delegated it to an apprentice. Now that the apprentice was successful with along with the film, Zimmer wanted it back. I don't care for the second soundtrack as much as the first. Zimmer is incapable of creating the nuances that Blaudet did on the first. Almost all the tracks are dark with little understanding of the dark humor that coincided in the first one. I hope Zimmer takes the critisism (sp?) constructively and lets Blaudet have some control back on #3.

Never thought I'd see THIS sold by Disney...
Black Hearted Pearl replied to Bilgemunky's topic in Thieves Market

Can you find it?

A thought for all you to ponder. Filming is to resume in August in the Bahamas on POTC3, yet the Flying Dutchman was just towed to Disney's Private Island, Castaway Cay. So did Davy Jones meet his end early in POTC3?
-
About Castaway Cay Castaway Cay was once Gorda Cay before Disney acquired it for Disney Cruise Line. The island is located 225 nautical miles from Disney's year-round home port of Port Canaveral, Florida, and is a pristine island located in the string of Bahamian islands named the Abacos. Stretching 3.1 miles long and 2.2 miles wide, Disney has developed less than 10 percent of the island, allowing the natural beauty to surround guests at every turn. After they acquired Gorda Cay, Disney then worked its magic built all the buildings and facilities on the island including bars, restaurants, restrooms a post office and a private dock for the Disney Cruise Line ships. Again, this is the only cruise line private island where a ship can dock directly on the island, eliminating the need for tenders to ferry guests between the island and the ship. You are free to come and go as you wish. That is until the hurricanes' rearrange it for them.

Oh, look what I found. Hope it works

oh, twist twist twist. I LOVE the Disney Cruise Line. I didn't see my kids for days! Nights, yes but the days were mine! Hey Wait, isn't the Magic going to the Mediterrean next year? Hmmmm, now another reason to do the Caribbean again instead the Mediterrean. All the Mediterrean cruises were booked up anyway.
