I love to plan when I'm going to party, hence I decided to start this thread as this is, most likely, the next "road trip" party for me. Since I don't belong to a household or such, I'm looking for a group I can donate my volunteer hours to. So, who's planning on going?

back yard pirate cove, piratical decor

How's your wish list going? I was thinking an old pair of louved closet doors would work great for the washer/dryer area. Just give it a distressed paint job and it will look like old hurricane shutters from the Governor's mansion. -
Okay, this faire I was WAY too busy to meet everyone. I missed meeting Billy Bones and Dread Pyrate Gregory. It seemed like I was passing through everytime someone was coming in the gate. Next faire, I'm just playing. I plan on bringing a big cask of rum and putting up a sign "Have a seat and enjoy a round with BHP!"

Ojai went by so fast. I missed meeting everyone. Next time, I'll have a big cask of rum and you all can find me. -
Well, from the rumor mill of a passing comment by someone who didn't see the filming of Keith Richards but worked on the POTC film and was a dinner guest of one of the speakers at an event that had nothing to do with POTC (you get my meaning here, don't you?) On top of that, it sounds like Mr. Richards' rumored performance may just end up on the cutting room floor, hence he wouldn't be in the movie "again". But it sure is nice to play the speculation game. However until I see up on screen, it's nothing but a rumor.

That fine girl is the most self-centered, rudest, manipulative brat I've ever seen. She only agreed to do the pirate play after Cap'n Slappy told her she would be on TV doing it. And the makeover of Ol' Chumbucket was horrifying. The Label Nazi turned him into a clone of that Ol' Arrogant (add noun here) she was married to. It was good to watch the show. It helped restructure my husband's priorities, if only for a half hour, that perfection is an illusion that leads to unhappiness. Embrace Pirattitude and you'll live a happier life.

The Port of New Providence be a fine show to catch. If'n ye have little ones, there be a few story tellers about. My show is at 10:30 each day, but I don't know me venue yet. If'n they be doing it, you'll need to catch the tryal of Anne Bonney and Mary Read. And last but not least, the afternoon battle on the shores of Lake Casitas. Be on the lookout for the square rigged Privateer firing guns from offshore. If'n ye make yourself known, you'll be buying me round. -
My son used school glue sticks. You have to give appropriate drying time (at minimum 24 hours), but it was the easiest to apply to the fine areas and the least messiest.

Twas a grand time. We even blew up a zodiac. Well, it was smokin at least. Next time, perhaps the First mate with think twice about hoisting the dingy on the starboard side right above the gun ports. There was, afterall, an aft dingy he could have used.

Aye, I'll be making port with me crew and visiting all me friends from the pyracy pub. -
Headin to Port this Thursday. I'll be reading me story to the wee ones, but firsts I's got to finish it up.
-
Very nice indeed!
-
Who do you want to know will be there? I'll be there with me crew of Knotty Jenny and PAG.
-
My son has learned how to make money on the game. His brothers keep breaking the pieces while playing with them, so in true pirate fashion he has horded all the glue in the house and charges $.25 A SAIL to fix it.

I'll be getting ready for the World Famous Ojai Pirate Festival in California that coming weekend. However with it being on Tuesday, I will be dropping by my local elementary school in my pirate stealth outfit. "Is she or isn't she dressed sort of like a pirate?" What? This is the latest fashion from Hollywood, you plastic blondes. Don't you recognize Gwen Stefani's line?

I just showed it to my crew. They all laughed at the promo. I live like this everyday in Snottsdale, AZ. Huzzah to Mad Sally! I think I would have done in more than just the flowers. edit: I went to read about the family that Mad Sally went to stay with. Oh poor Mad Sally. Could there have been a worser fate than living with the Fines? Mad Sally deserves a purple heart for having to endure such pretentious people. Good thing she's married to Ol' Chumbucket. I would need a bucket after spending time with those people.

I don't have Jack Sparrow, but I have Louie Lambe. Now it's a primitive shot. We didn't take much time in editing (eliminated all incriminating shots), but it's got some nice close ups.

Watch out for the month of October. Schools in Arizona (California's neighbors for those geographically challenged) has a thing called Fall Break. We all run to Disneyland for Fall Break. ~See you in October.

I've got pictures. I've got video. For $50 bucks, I got an adventure with a guy named Bob and his 1979 27ft Erickson Sailboat out of the Dill Pickle Yacht Club. Smile for the camera, Louie!

Hey, I just figured out how Captain Jack Sparrow is going to get out of the Kraken for POTC 3! Now there's an entrance.
