Good times. Enjoy the trip =) I've never been to disney world. Just land and euro. Euro actually had rotting zombie flesh on their haunted mansion ride. I was impressed.

Just something to add that I found funny. I love this guy's shop and everything he supplies. That being said. Do any of you own a printed catalogue? I was looking through it one day and noticed that he models most of the clothing and other types of accessories himself. Page after page it was him and him alone. By the time I got to the women's section I was half hoping he would be modeling them too. "Half hoping" is a key phrase though.

They are about the only "pirate" shop I saw with wedding designs. Truthfully, it's more Ren fair styles but if they consider wedding designs then I'm willing to believe they can make just about anything to fit your needs.

Ok so I've been having a couple problems finding good looking, non-rubber shrunken heads for my accessories. My dad tossed an idea out yesterday to just carve out some apples like a pumpkin, stitch the eyes and mouth closed and let them dry out for about few a few weeks. Possibly put a coating on them so they don't break apart. I laughed at this idea because it's just too funny (and easy) to pass up. If you saw a pirate with these would you find it funny or just stupid?

I got mine from Sam Ash online. Truthfully not the best place to get a concertina but it was cheap enough and it plays decent. I suggest (like others before me) to just buy a cheap on first. Start with and anglo so you only need to deal with 20 buttons instead of 60 (or is it 30 on some models?) like the english concertina. You'll get a much better sound with an expensive one, but you should play around with a cheapo for maybe a year or so until you know the instrument is right for you.

Good to know. If i was a Pirate reenactor, then I would be the worst =). By conference, do you mean a convention of sorts? To be honest, my only previous knowledge of conventions have been star trek and a couple comic book ones from way back in the day. I heard they are having a Pirate Lounge this year and that's what is making me think of going. Even if the con isn't all that great, it looks like there's a nice place to just hang out. I've never even been to N.O. let alone their pirate gathering. At double the cost, I'm conflicted on what to do. Thanks for the info mate.

Random question. How is this event from previous years? I'm sort of in a bind on where I can this year for traveling abroad. It's this or new orleans but this one would cost half the price.

The real question is... what drunk @$$ holiday do we bring the trees INSIDE the house and take the lights OUTSIDE the house? Putting warm clothing on packed snow with a carrot for a nose and jamming into a car for hours looking at how many lights other people left outside their homes. Needs more booze to see how far we can take Xmas.

I showed my dad these pictures yesterday and he loved them. He likes the idea that I do the pirate thing but he cracked a huge smile when he saw the Airship stuff. Good times.

LOL no that looks pretty sweet as is. I'm not sure if anyone remembers the cartoon Tailspin but they had airship pirates in them. Haha I loved that show when I was young.

I have no idea where Airship Pirate comes from but it's a friggin sweet thing.
