After much harrasment from my Son (vintagesailor aka Commodore Swab) who knows I love to dress up and act I have finally made the plungs and joined. Hopefully I will be able to make it to PiP this winter although I haven't been invited to any crews yet. I may also be allowed to sleep on his boat or stay in a motel. Im working on getting my outfit together and am looking foreward to being there. So I thought I would introduce myself and buy some of you all a drink, not all as it seems many of you have had too much to drink already.

I just happened upon the last casting call for NBC 's The Biggest Loser Season 8 . . . so in one day I put this tape together and sent it off with high hopes. I got as far as a call back for more medical info. . . and that was it. I refuse to carry this weight around for another year to be re-cast. . . so I'm going to eat better, head to the gym and document my progress on YouTube starting May 1. EDIT: I set up www.porkypirate.com at which I'll keep a video blog. - make m'own TV show says I!

To all the women out there who raise new pirates everyday I hope that your day is blessed. I hope that you take a day to do what YOU want to do and not what you need to do.

Tiens Amis! Mon nom est Pierre LeGrand. I am an arrogant but approachable pirate who comes to you from the beautiful land of Dieppe, France. I have an American sailor associate who had told me about this site and come here to visit. I have navigated a bit through this site and still trying to understand all that it has to offer. So far, I am very impressed to see people with a passion for the same thing I adore. So how about it. Will the American Pirates open the door and share a Rhum et boisson? (Rum and Drink). Beau jour. I am looking forward to meeting you all. -Pierre

While on vacation in Rome , I noticed a marble column in St. Peter's with a golden telephone on it. As a young priest passed by, I asked who the telephone was for. The priest told me it was a direct line to heaven, and if I'd like to call, it would be a thousand dollars. I was amazed, but declined the offer. Throughout Italy , I kept seeing the same golden telephone on a marble column. At each, I asked about it and the answer was always the same: It was a direct line to heaven and I could call for a thousand dollars. Then - I finished my tour in Ire…

Many moons ago, I had an email address ending in pyracy.com. I don't remember the password and don't have a link either to find a log-in. Does this service still exist? If so, I REALLY need it for some stuff coming soon. Plus, my username with piracy.com would look pretty cool on my Scion and Scottish forums, where I'm known as the resident pirate. Thanks, Tartan Jack Wages

A lot of people at events carry their secret survivor drink around in various containers disguised as an innocent accouterment to their garb. I had a small metal Celtic flask (sadly it got a puncture hole somehow and became useless) that I put my favorite drink in, Rootbeer Schnaaps. (I'm looking for a new one if someone knows of where the Celtic metal flasks are for sale on-line, let me know!) BTW- If you haven't tried it, do so - really good! So what is your secret potion to carry around with you?

Greetings to all of you here at the Pub! 'Tis me first time here and 'tis a sheer pleasure to buy a round for ye all! I be hailing from the West, recently sojourned from the wild woodlands where years hence my hearth and home 'twas in the northern realms of the Sierra Nevada mountains. My nearest port was Hyde St. Pier where I was known by a different name (I've found 'tis a convenience when the beadles near to adopt a differing monniker). I appeared in divers locations (that's varied and sundry, NOT scuba shops for you swabbies who shun the King's English), armed with original cutlass and piratical vestments. Yes, they truly be original. Since that time, much of my att…

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a.... awww. you know the rest... Hello everybloody. Just introducing myself. I'm iPirate or otherwise known as Pat. I'm 43, happily married to Asian girl 13 years younger than myself. P-} yes, i'm a very lucky pirate indeed. Ok, a little history about myself. I grew up in a very catholic household and went to an all boys catholic high school in D.C. (Gonzaga). One good thing about that is that my teachers were all great thinkers and they taught me how to think for myself. boy did that screw me up... I thought for myself alright... just thought in completely the wrong direction. by the time I hit college I was pretty much stark raving mad. I turn…
