BLACK JACK SHALAQ Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 .....AW CRAP..... YER ANKLES WILL LOOK LOVELY BEHIND YER EARS LASSIE! HAR! HAR! HAR!
Red-Handed Jill Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Isn't it the second Addams Family movie? Addams Family Values is the name, I think. Lots of good lines in both movies...
Caraccioli Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Ahhhh! I can't remember the name of that one. With models and William Shatner.... but I know it! Are you thinking of Miss Congeniality? I believe Red Bess has it right. "You'll meet someone. Someone special. Someone who won't press charges." (from the same movie) "You're supposed to be dead!" "Am I not?"
Red-Handed Jill Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Um... did I guess correctly? I'm pretty sure I did - just saw that movie a couple of months ago.
gryffin Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Red-Handed Jill you got it. Addams Family Values Another good line from that one is: Debbie: [meeting Gomez] Well, isn't he a lady killer! Gomez: Acquitted.
Red-Handed Jill Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Both movies are full of great lines! Okay, my turn: "One day you'll be cool."
Merrydeath Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Almost Famous and here is mine.. Giselle: Hey fishface! Lose something? Look what I got. Come to negotiate eh, you slimy git? Caraccioli Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 The name sort of gives it away...it must be from Dead Man's Chest. "You're supposed to be dead!" "Am I not?"
Merrydeath Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Truth.. but I love the line! Next Pirate Lass with sass, brass, a cutlass, an a nice *ss. Capt of the FOOLS GOLD PIRATES BLAST BREAST CANCER! Caraccioli Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 "Am I right or am I right or am I right?" That's my quote. I was in the city when and where they were filming it. (In a state Duchess once lived in...) "You're supposed to be dead!" "Am I not?"
Duchess Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 "Am I right or am I right or am I right?"That's my quote. I was in the city when and where they were filming it. (In a state Duchess once lived in...) oooo. Unfortunately I don't recognize it.
hitman Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Just as a question, am I the only one who googles the answers when they have no clue what they are? Not to post I mean but just to see if you should know it. THIS BE THE HITMAN WE GOIN QUIET
Caraccioli Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Just as a question, am I the only one who googles the answers when they have no clue what they are? Not to post I mean but just to see if you should know it. I do that sometimes. When I answer, I know the movie and am either reasonably sure of the quote or being stupid. Clue: The movie is set in Pennsylvania (although it was not filmed there). "You're supposed to be dead!" "Am I not?"
blackjohn Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Groundhog Day???? To answer the hitman's question, no, I usually don't. Every once in awhile I will, but I like surprises. My Home on the Web The Pirate Brethren Gallery Dreams are the glue that holds reality together.
blackjohn Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 "Am I right or am I right or am I right?"That's my quote. I was in the city when and where they were filming it. (In a state Duchess once lived in...) Didn't the Donkey in Shrek also say this? My Home on the Web The Pirate Brethren Gallery Dreams are the glue that holds reality together.
Caraccioli Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 "Am I right or am I right or am I right?"That's my quote. I was in the city when and where they were filming it. (In a state Duchess once lived in...) Didn't the Donkey in Shrek also say this? I don't know. But I do know Shrek was not filmed in Woodstock, IL. (Note, for some reason I thought Woodstock was in Wisconsin. I'm wrong. It's close to the border, though.) Your turn. "You're supposed to be dead!" "Am I not?"
blackjohn Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Your turn. Oh? Cool! In keeping with our website's nautical theme... The sea is calm you said. Peaceful. Calm above, but below a world of gliding monsters preying on their fellows. Murderers, all of them. Only the strongest teeth survive. And who's to tell me it's any different here on board, or yonder on dry land? My Home on the Web The Pirate Brethren Gallery Dreams are the glue that holds reality together.
Caraccioli Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 There's always a bigger fish? Nah...it's not from Episode 1. Sir Topham Hatt, huh? "You're supposed to be dead!" "Am I not?"
blackjohn Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Yes, The Fat Controller... Ok, a hint. This is a film from a novel, but not the most famous novel (by a long sea mile) from said author. My Home on the Web The Pirate Brethren Gallery Dreams are the glue that holds reality together.
blackjohn Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 GOOD on ya Jill!!! Sadly, it's a little watched film. I give it two big thumbs up!!! The stage is now yours. My Home on the Web The Pirate Brethren Gallery Dreams are the glue that holds reality together.
Red-Handed Jill Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 Yay for me! Here's an easy one: "This is your one get out of jail free card. So I hope you enjoyed it."
Caraccioli Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Here's an easy one:"This is your one get out of jail free card. So I hope you enjoyed it." Maybe not so easy. I think we need a hint. "You're supposed to be dead!" "Am I not?"
Hester Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 "This is your one get out of jail free card. So I hope you enjoyed it." Andie McDowell to John Travolta in Michael?
Red-Handed Jill Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 The hint is that it isn't about jail and the person who says it is a parent.
