Hello, kind sir,

This would be the bride of bosun Carl. I just wanted to make a request of you all that made it to the encampment this weekend. I used to get to attend the events and miss them deeply, so I beg photos from anyone who will share. Therefore your comments about cameras and such have led to this post. I am a scrapbook artist and try to make scrapbooks of the boys endeavors and through that get to be a part. Could you please include me in any picture sharing that goes on within the group! I would be ever so grateful and when you meet again, you would be able to see the resulting pages! I thank you for your time, hope you have a safe return home and had a delightful weekend!

The "bosun's mate"

Cheri

I will be posting images tomorrow of all the fine trappings, trespasses, tug-a-wars, tinkerings and travels that we experienced.

For now, I am home safe and sound. I arrived on time in Salt Lake City and spent the day hiking the mountains and picnicking with the family, followed by shopping and a night out at the movies. More to follow tomorrow.

My great thanks to all that were there and to everyone for making the event what it was. And a special nod to Janet and John for hard work and hosting me at the event.

while connie and i did do some stuff, i think that the real work was done before hand by william and capt. j... without them, cooperation with the event directors wouldn't have happened...

and many thanks should be given to janet who braved the heat and sun to cook some wonderfully delicious meals for us....

and wait until you guys see some pics of the flag !! tracy did a wonderful job getting the flag done in time for our enjoyment !! even staying up until 2 in the morning to finish it !!

it was nice to finally meet william, capt j, and see everyone else again !! we had a good time despite the heat wave that finally broke on sunday... pics will be coming later...

Thanks to you Sir...

Next year....and I promise...... that we will have a "Pirate Personal Shower" for our crew ( this will help with the heat)..... along with a new bed that will fit in the tent this time......... and a new dish wash station that the Lass said she wants........Yo Ho

aye!

at bushy run, they usually have a garden hose attached to a board nailed to a skid out in the field, so you can take a sort of open air shower.

good eats, definitely. can someone post the recipe for the dinner we had saturday night, that mexican dish and beef was to die for. and the monster cookies, i had one of those before work today.

i'm definitely interested in going back next year.

Alright, but I'll kill anyone who gets in the way of me killing anyone!

A long day sorting pictures and only these three to show tonight. Some bad news in the sorting. A number of my pictures were corrupted. I think they're from the tug-a-war the first day.

Still, here's the crew before the flag.

I have uploaded images from the first full day on site. I took the time to photograph the fort itself from as many angles, directions and unique perspectives as I could find, so that people planning to attend in the future would be able to see the lay of the land.

WHAT'S THIS ABOUT TENT BURNINGS!?!?!

Professor Death was in fine form and left but few witnesses, those who remained being hand chosen by the same. The lamentations could still be heard as we left Fort de Chartres. I still cannot explain the sudden and seemingly irrational argument that started the matter, but I shall certainly never forget it.
