Roll Call 2008

ah i've flown bananna republic airlines before. say hi to snake when you see him. third world pilots are a blast, safe landings are good, but there are better ventures. My favorite is "PINGGGGG" hey, where did this hole between my feet come from?

I'd rather drink my rum out of the cask but if you wish pewter tankards help yourself. its ashame to loose the flavor though. I got ahold of some ground root mixed with coconut milk, courtesies said to drink and not offend..... zow!! no worries of malaria there!!! stuff would not let anything live in your blood stream. rum has never been the same since.

unfortunately, i'm required elsewhere for a few weeks at the end of nov, beginning of december. Although by the end of it there will be 25 police recruits that will be more than happy to send me away. I get to spend a few weeks doing my favorite thing. shooting guns and trying to inflict permanent emotional dammage on recruits. Although I was very dissapointed with last weeks results. I made it the entire week without a complaint from a recruit. i 'must be mellowing in my old age.

well it was not a total waste. I made one cry when I stole her cruiser. said it was not fair. lets see.... thats why we carry two keys???????? Although i was told to not cuff the recruits to their cars even if i could get the cuffs away from them. happened twice.

The academy hedged me this year. said i could not say anything to belittle or offend them durring scenarios. bad guys go through this briefing as well im sure. I'm so disgusted.

SAY WHAT?! You must be joking? Good lord! I hope that if I am ever confronted with a criminal he is polite and considerate ....are you at least permitted to yell, act angry?

sterling is right, back to PiP, sorry for sidetracking. lets see if i can use what i learned this week.

No i will not be attending your splendid event although i'm certain that fine opportunities will be had to rekindle friendships and experience new ventures while broadening my own horizons while nurturing recruits who all show excellent opportunites for improvement.

We are up to 93 pirates attending the various camps and crews. Ninety-three. I like seeing our old numbers shattered year to year.
Come on, mate, make it 94...

There are still a few I am working on talking into coming down with us... So we might be able to beat that "93" number... By the way, what was last years count?

Did anyone keep a count of pub members? There were many who came and went...there were 44 people I found in the 2007 Pub Photo(s), but not all those people were pub members and not all the pub members were in those photos. (To make it more complicated, the number last year (as every year, I'll wager) fluctuates from the number who sign up here on the forum.

Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?"

John: "I don't know."

Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."

Well it is with great anguish and turmoil that I need to withdrawl our names from the list.

My parents, GG, Dudley Double Shot and sister Abbington will not make it.

Myself and My wife, Brig (of course the wee one!) will not be planning on going.

Work is just to slack at the moment. If a sudden increase of work or if I'm still off over the weekend,

we will come. I won't count on it for the moment. I'm very sorry not to be going. We all will miss you.

PS I will still fill out the forms and send them in, just in case.

Of course you count m'dear, but since you are always reminding us that the ordinary is the "Common Ground" even though you are a most welcome addition to the Archangel Crewe, I respect your desire to run the ordinary as its "own thing" catering to both sides of the fence.... pirate hunter and pirate alike... besides if you ever decided to leave the crewe, i would have to hunt you down and keel haul you....because i would not give you up without a fight!

(okay, okay... still brain dead... tis this illness thing...dying has me all muddled... )

Anyone willing for one more soul? 1720 camp for me. Whatever ship is good.

PM me...as I am discovering travel logistics into KW are being more favorable as of late. The existing crew That I had won't make it this year <_<
