So I went ahead and made you one. I can alter it or add to it if you don’t like it, but I think it turned out neat. <3 Uh....uh....uh....I don't know what to say....but I sure am laughing like an idiot (oh shut up out there!) over it.....never had a banner.....uh....uh....ok.....it's cool. Scary though.....gads it might end up the dang magazine! Here is a white satin shirt I've been working on and finally finished. It's got the ruffles in the front and ruffles on the sleeves. Just need to add a few more feathers and stitch down the black trim a bit more. But otherwise, it's done. And I'm rather pleased with how it turned out. I've been pondering about making hats similar to the one I made and a couple others. I need to do another prototype or two though. Plenty out there that are wool or fur felt or straw... but not many hats out there that are other fabrics. And yes, it's difficult as the devil! But all in all in the end... the hats are fantastic! But the real test will come soon enough on how well it holds up. After all... it's made with velvet fabric. Who knows... perhaps in a year... Gold trim with black trim to the brass buttons on the front, cuffs, mock pocket flaps and two brass buttons in the back at the split. Tis not totally finished as I have to add on the finishing touch and that's the embroidery. I'm still working on that... albeit slowly.
