Theres always the Gig Harbor Renn Fest in August? Then there are maritime fests in Port Angeles As well as Tacomas tallship fest., these are all close to Seattle..., I am in Centralia., thats about 80 miles south of Seattle..., and these places are pretty easy to get to for me. Not alot of Piratatical events so far inland I suppose there werent many pirates in Spokane., however getting together a troup of friends who are into having fun with you is the real key., We do live 80 miles away from most events., and the events dont come to often..., there fore we get into our kits as often as we can . Consider this (4th of july) Cannons and tricorns there mate! Halloween ! Thanksgiving was created pre 1700 ! And of course there is New Year ? Then comes the 4th again and whatever event we can find. Being a pirate may not be so much an event as an enjoyable bit of living throughout your own life.., At least thats the way we do it.

Tho I cant speak french nor care to..., I do prefer the Count of Monte Cristo., with Gerard Depardieu...., in french., with screen captions turned on as its more interesting to me spoken in the writers(Dumas) own language, for one reason., the other reason is since its not in english ., it makes me have to really pay attention in order to follow along..., thereby giving me more out of the film...., and its really a great story., a few tall ships and the greatest treasure anyone could want. A really good movie. Gerard Depardieu was also Porthos in the Man in the Iron Mask.

I would have to say your Husband is a lucky man!., The coat is sharp .,the photos do show off the liner a bit as well and it looks great as do the pants. A great piece of work.

I know this wont go over well...., but., Piracy runs rampant in many places around the world. Including So. America., and S.E. Asia. Malasia and Indonesia. And the mediterannian ? Pirates do use AK-47's T-Shirts,.,Cell Phones.,50 caliber sub machine guns mounted to high speed boats., GPS., and many other things.As pirates they use every modern convienience to acheive theft.,there is in place International law to apprhend these thugs. Theyre' are plenty of Real Pirates out there..,and as pirates they arent interested in 350 year old clothing styles..., they are interested in the ships manifest .,cargo and equipment. and they are killers. Real Killers. Tho it is not part on my Piratical kit as it were.....,And I am not a Real pirate., I am a Plumber with make believe pirate clothing and real cannons and a real stretch of beach I am having fun trying to carry out my dream of a themed Diving resort. I love my Bucket boots., and frock.,and being a muzzle loader most dont find it a threat and let us play with our toys and take enjoyment from it. This is part of why I am building my own little world., a place Nazi's and Real Pirates are not welcome. But people of all diving interests or pirate fun can come and not be out of place or time.., I am grateful to be able to work for such a retirement playground. If someone shows up to Dive for a week or use a day cabana for a bar b que., or hang out at the karoeke bar., in authentic 17th century clothing or frilly hollywood pirate attire.., we will be grateful to make their aquantance., and see to their happy good time.

I would be curious to know if it is a "Full Tang" blade thru into handle?...., or is it a rat tanged sword as are so many others? I do not know..., does anyone else? If it is not then you may be left with only but a handle in your hand., and it should not be weilded at speed out in your yard....,A full tang., assures you that you actually have a grip on it.
