Isabella If you cast it in RomaGold alloy you will not need to plate it.., that the point. and it is the same cost per pennyweight (1.55 gm) as silver.., Romagold alloy is the metal jewelers use to mix down 22k bullion down with to get 18.,14.,and 10k for the jewlery. Its a golden alloy thru an thru that can take the riggers of daily usage and cleaners.., really great for casting a gold tone that shines and easily cleans (like gold)

This is kinda one of those deals you get what you pay for and what exactly do you want...., do you want an antiqued look.., do you want a GOLD .., real gold look.., are you going to wear it., and will you wear it thru out your life?., or will it be a wall prop? All these things can run your price up or down and be fine so long as you are happy. Well .., I got one about a year ago made from pewter with a gold plate (an original piece) however I believe pewter is sub standard garbage as far as a daily wearable and LIFETIME piece......, however it was "Perfect"in condition therefore I casted a few in RomaGold Alloy ( a gold colored alloy thru an thru non plated) also a few silver and of course my own 14k unit at 38 grams no chain. The movie chain design doesnt have the strength to secure a real peice of gold that heavy. I chose a 24" 18k rolo.., and should have gotten a 14k Dense Cuban Curb about a 10mm X 3mm Buffed . The Coin is big/. bear that in mind if you are thinking of a gold.., it is heavy. With all that said., Many have popped up and are made from pewter and gold plating as well as resin (plastic prop makers use) for cheapo knock offs. Master Replicas did an outstanding Star Trek collection recently thats for sure!! and I would bet that for 15.00 their cursed coin is well worth it.!!! However it doesnt look gold with that antiquing thing goin on??? Knowing what I know I personally would find a good metal copy of the prop...,of course a year ago that couldnt be found.., thats why I did my own.(probably Ebay would be a good start) stay away from pewter ( as a jewelry thats garbage) hardly Aztec Gold and LOOK CLOSELY at the Detail in the outer perimeter of the coin., the triangles should be crisp with a lot of detail., and the coins edge is unmistakable., its gotta be right..............., ask fo high res photos before you buy!! For budget coins the MR for 15 bones is a safe bet ..,and Disney Authorized that one........................................................................... ................................................................................ ............................ ................................................................................ ............................. .................................................................finally.

Speakin of merchandise., I have had the "Cursed Coin for some time now.., well a year (Grinning).., however Have you ever seen a real good close up of Barbossa's necklace?., what is it., and how can a person get a CLOSE up of it? I stopped the DVD but even at that ya cant make it out? HarborMaster P.S. Props beat merchandise 100 to 1

Wow !! Geez Black John., Have you been to a WalMart lately? Our walmart here has plenty of woman with large butts and breasts !! Myself I dont like walmart. Short is good Small waist is also good. Sparkling eyes are good too! Small tits are a bonus however especially after studying Newtons theories. Small feet Pretty hands are a must. A nasty lookin pair of knarled up size 11's protruding out of the covers would make me queezy.., and could cause sea-sickness. Hmmmmm I would think a beautiful face is the most major thing., I have to face this person., talk to them and reason with them., I would have to say the face...,Pretty and or even a boyish workin girls face can all be attractive depending on the womans conduct.

Yea !!! Those photos are really sharp., and looks like a great weekend!!! -
I find most people so bitter ., are too poor to have much to be happy about..., imagine that in the richest county in the world. I also find that most of those are lazy good for nothin low end no work loser types. As I look around the Pub I notice there are alot of professional people., educated and also hard working blue collar..., which can afford one the luxury of having a life worth living. We do after have to earn our way. No one in the Pub that I can recall ever claimed they got anything worth gettin for free., especially and education and manners., they are earned it.,as it should be.

I just watched it again..., had too..........., Just exaclty how many times can one watch POTC ? This time I took a REAL GOOD LOOK. The film itself is actually DAYLIGHT and I can SEE the beauty of the islands.., something POTC doesnt really give you. I loved POTC but I always hated the fact it was so dark., therefore I felt I missed alot of the scenery. Also the weapons., at the end especially Geena Davis packs 5 pistols and a main guache with the triangle spanish hand guard., and its an active 3 pronger!!! There is a great Blunderbuss pistol and a 10 barrel Duck foot along with a host of other goodies. Also the ships we substantially bigger than Lady Washington ., The St. Peter or HMS Rose., and they had plenty more cannon power. The figure head of the "Morning Star had a pretty good Neptune ridin a sea monster., and of course the Reaper on the other ship. And last but not least I believe Frank Langilla is as good a bad guy as Geoffrey Rush could ever be., I just wish Kurt Russell would have gotten Mathew Modines part as Shaw. Who Knows Kurt I am sure could have done his own Jack Sparrow as a 1800's Captain Ron just fine. HarborMaster

Man fatally stabbed in Renaissance Festival parkin
HarborMaster replied to Corinne's topic in October
If the man accused did it, and it sounds like it...,and 3 or 4 to 1 being such a cowardice and senceless act., then I hope Texas burns that punk alive...,and his accomplices too. I read the article., 2 days leave and serving in the Navy.., the murderer isnt the man the victim was This kinda stuff is the exact kind of firepower some idiot law makers would use to limit fantasy faire fun also. People need to appreciate our freedoms., rather than abusing them., or one day we may not have many freedoms left. HarborMaster -
I did not read the book but I am glad I have the DVD in posession it was worth the few shillings. I do not know of a sequal to Catriona. Currently we are watching "The Bounty" I had seen Marlon Brando's version ., missed Clark Gables..,but the one I bought was Anthony Hopkins and Mel Gibsons version since I had not seen it.., and so far its the best. I think the scenes of the ship and the tahitian girls do it for me *smiling* We did get Pirates of Tortuga., a 1963 movie DVD but have not recieved it as of yet., its coming along with Cutthroat Island., an Ebay transaction. Wow !!., Super., We are wishing you well in your endeavor.,The very best of luck you! HarborMaster

Actually.., Japan is not a long way from where Pirates were., there are still pirates in the southern Philippines., (Jolo., and Tawi-Tawi) ..,Indonesia really and lots of them. However Mrs. Cheng was probably the most successful pirate of all time as she had over 4000 vessels in her flotilla......,a Chinese Pirate she was. Now then., a Ninja was in fact looked upon as a coward even by Samurai. Who were in fact a brave characture. The point is., Piracy began the first time someone invented a floating device......., Someone tried infact to take it away. Noah had to fight off many (people) trying to get onto his ark. Ceaser himself was said to be a pirate in his youth., and Rome did have to fight pirate off. Real Piracy has always been a problem . And Piracy exists today. HarborMaster

I found a movie earlier this evening for 7.49 so I bought it., It is Francis Ford Coppola's version of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Kidnapped". Anyone seen it?...., I thought for that price.,O.K. get it., Hard to go wrong with Stevenson. Sure enough it wasnt bad.., pretty good actually.., Brian McCardie and Armand Assante. It'll go right along with the 18'th century collection of movies. Great clothing some really good props a cannon and a small merchant brig. and L O T S of differant locks for your viewing pleasure including several blunderbuss as well !!! HarborMaster
