Aye, I've been meaning to see her too. And she was in me own port, too, Marina del Rey! But I really bloody sick, and now I wait to see her down in Long Beach. I c'n hardly wait! Captain Wolfy Wench

The thing always is the cheaper you pay, the less quality you're payin' fer. Nice tats, everyone! Captain Wolfy Wench

I want a bloody tattoo as well. I want to get one fer my 18th birthday. A small one on me 'and or me back. I've three piercings on me ears, plannin' to get three more! One more cartilage piercin', two more on me lobes. Captain Wolfy Wench

Aye! These are some fine replicas! I've seen the real props many a-times, and from what I remember, these're rightly done, and quite accurate. Where's it say e's selling 'em for $30? I wants the precious... Captain Wolfy Wench

A Pirate Parade Float In the Making!!!
Captian Wolfy Wench replied to TalesOfTheSevenSeas's topic in Thieves Market
Wow!!! The pictures are awesome! I can't BELIEVE tha' tha' ship ye all bought was turned into such a fine vessel! Great work, all of ye! And grea' pictures, too! Looks like ye all had fun, so I don' need to ask. Make sure to look for ANY chance to show her off. Captain Wolfy Wench -
Aww, methinks I'm sad it's nearly over, even if I didn't go. Jus' knowin' real pyrates are out there somewhere, playin' the pyrate game, I'm 'appy! :) I wish I could've attended, but alas, still being in high school (but not for very much longer!) certainly has its disadvantages! I'll work on greasin' my way over next year! Captain Wolfy Wench

Ah, me dear, from lots and LOTS of discussion, I've two answers, and I've heard enough evidence to support both. It's either a bone ornament, or a dulled down needle for repairin' nets at sea. As fer function... search me, lass, becuase out of everythin' I've seen Jack does not use it. If indeed it is a needle, then it would've had some purpose, bu' I daresay the Capt'n wouldn't be doin' any of his own repairs now! :) If ye be wantin' some real answers from the crew of the film, look for interviews with costume designers and propmasters, online or in magazines. Lots of info usually comes from them, all official, like. Captain Wolfy Wench

Though' all of ye PotC fans'd be interested in how the DVD is faring, sales-wise. And in one word: fantastic! In fact, it's doing so bloody well, it's broken the record for the highest sales in one week for a live-action film on DVD/VHS! Check out this article on the matter: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...ilm_videos_dc_1 Cheers for PotC! Huzzah! Captain Wolfy Wench

Pyrate story writer lookin' fer an illustrator
Captian Wolfy Wench replied to blackbartsghost's topic in Pyrate Pop
Aye, sounds like ye'd be wantin' a near-professional fer this. I can draw anthros, anime and western-style cartoons, but this pyrate's not what yer lookin' fer. I cannot draw backgrounds fer the life of me. Too much drawing fanart fer Capt'n Wolf, methinks. I can draw Jack Sparrow and Will Turner, though! I suggest lookin' round some artist boards elsewhere; yer better off with a great artist that can learn to draw piratical stuff rather than a semi-good artist who already knows. Captain Wolfy Wench -
Har, ye may've gotten it just now, but I've had it since Wednesday! Me neighbor owns a DVD shoppe, so 'e gets the discs in early and'll tell me about 'em. I rang him up and begged fer a PotC DVD when he got it, and I got home last Wednesday to see it in me own box. Only $21.00, too... huzzah for DVD-store owning neighbors! Anyway, it's a grea' DVD set, with 10 hours of extra stuff. My favorites are some of the Making Of specials and the deleted scenes. There's more of Jack's past, kinda, in a few of the scenes. Norrington's character is completely differen' now, with the stuff they cut out. Actually, most of the scenes are only extended versions of certain scenes with about a minute added. Still, they're wonderful, and I'm glad they have 'em. The blooper reel is the same 'un tha' was posted in another thread and found online. Grea' DVD, I be confident that ye all will enjoy it when ye get 'em. Captain Wolfy Wench

Endkaos, you are indeed correct. Hans Zimmer, James Horner and JOHN WILLIAMS *cough* are very much THE great ones... but you forgot Danny Elfman! ^^ But I digress. No, the score is made by three people: Christopher Gordon, Iva Davies, Richard Tognetti, according to Amazon.com. Never head o' any of them. I just saw Master and Commander yesterday, and I loved it! It was not jus' the call of the sea that got me, it was the visuals, the story, the narration of a life at sea, and especially the characters and their relationships. I love history. :) I have been meanin' to pick up the books, bu' now I'm going to have to, eh. I hope not to drown in nautical terms and lingo I'm not familar with. Captain Wolfy Wench

Yes, I've been hearin' a lot of rumors for PotC2. One of them actually was put forth by tha' scurvy Geoffrey Rush. ^^ He said tha' the new movie might have ter do with voodoo. Now how does voodoo relate to pirates in any way? I be wonderin' about that man. Everyone's hopin' for more info on Jack's background. In manner of Han Solo and the Millenium Falcon, perhaps? Will and Elizabteh are obviously returning, so it be obvious tha' there'll be a reunion o' sorts. Maybe some new cast members, becuase no movie franchise goes far without new characters in subsequent films and sequels. Maybe old friends of Jack's? An' 'ere's a VERY common thought: Will's father, Bootstrap Bill returnin'. Captain Wolfy Wench

Hmm, yes, I knows what ye mean, Blind Rhoid Pyle. Xbox is naturally against me ways as a videogame player, but... so many good games're only on tha' bloody thing. PotC on a console and Halo... *swears* I've been wantin' one for meself, too. EDIT: Bet you can get a good deal on eBay, or when you trade stuff in into used game stores. A good one is EB Games. And the PotC game cheap is no problem either. Captain Wolfy Wench

What an odd piece of furniture, but nonetheless stunning! I'd love a tasteful bed like tha'. The winner is very lucky. Captain Wolfy Wench

Interestin'. Now if only the people I know wif boats won't think me crazy when I tell 'em seriously tha' I plan on usin' their fine vessels to find treasure. Most new boats nowadays 'ave GPS systems installed in 'em already. If they don', I believe they cost quite a pretty penny. Also, they be IMPOSSIBLE to operate. My technologically-dependant Ivy League grad cousin cannot even fig're out tha manual. Captain Wolfy Wench

A Pirate Parade Float In the Making!!!
Captian Wolfy Wench replied to TalesOfTheSevenSeas's topic in Thieves Market
Mate, the Land Shark looks great so far! Ye 'ave put in a lot of thought 'n effort into this. I just knows she's gonna turn out better'n imagined! Just remember, lots of paint and seal are the key for raw wood such as the stuff yer usin'. Sandin', too. There can be no cuttin' corners here. I'm sorry ye've been havin' rainy weather. On'ly one day of rain fer us here in LA, and tha' was Halloween. I wish I could help ye wif such a creative project. From everyone's 9 to 5 list, sounds like many of the pyrates here are the creative type. Wish I could draw ye somethin'. Captain Wolfy Wench -
'Appy Birfday, Seaskull! I offer ye 'nother tankard, eh! Nice pic, BTW, Rosalinda! Captain Wolfy Wench

Argh, what a loss. Never like to hear when a beautiful ship like tha' goes down. I've never been, but she's a pretty ship from the looks of it. Captain Wolfy Wench

I have never been to Rocky Horror, nor do I intend to, as Moulin Rouge midnight showings are more me cup o' tea. Well, it be one of me favorite movies ever, so of course. But lookin' at this site an' seein' the success stories, maybe this'll be fun. It'd be my 10th and record-breaking time next viewin'. Captain Wolfy Wench

NQG 10th Anniversary Birthday Bash
Captian Wolfy Wench replied to Jamaica Rose's topic in Fort Taylor
Arr, I would go in a heartbeat, bu' seeing as am still 17 years old, it's hard fer me to have any sway in where we vacation, if we even do this year. Hope all of ye'll have fun, and celebrate the anniversary of NQG! Captain Wolfy Wench
