El Pirata

I always prefered the thought of piracy in the 20th and 21st century as the description given in the movie Hook. It was somewhere along the lines of a kid describing his father's work which was something like hostile a take over. I con't remember the description word for word but that's what I always thought of when I tink of piracy in the present day. There's also the true pirates of the Caribbean that operate in and around Cuba but most who have never sailed those waters would never be able to imagine what that's like.

Wish I would have known you were out in the Seattle area when I was out there in November. Oh well I wish I could go but I think I'll be stuck on the East coast during that time. Sorry.

Actually I think I had it on VHS at one point in time. I did run a search for Dick Dale on Kaaza and found the song I remembered. It was a pretty good tune. I also downloaded some Gary Hoey too.

I was wondering what the whole "Bring back Roy" meant? Is that like Roy Disney? Was he ofted from office by the beauracrats (or however you spell the dern word)?

As far as scanning it goes, that's nearly out of the question because the cling is about 10"X17" The thing is huge. Way bigger than I thought it would be.

Mostly what I have downloaded from the net. I did, however, buy a window cling with the POTC logo on it. I also am looking into getting a decal made for my truck with the logo on it for the hood ($400) and one for each side ($500). Depending on the pricing and attention to detail, I may get it painted on.
