  1. This be the one I really like. Another is also like for sale on Ebay and no, I not be the seller.
  2. Test... This be the latest to my collection. This is another item just like for bid. Ahoy Scupper!
  3. Ahoy Captain Tito, I got the adult shirts from Ebay, soon after the movie came out. I bidded on one and the seller contacted me and wanted to know if I was interested in buying more for the same bidding price. What a plunder I had found! The kiddie shirts were gotten at the Disney store right before Christmas, $9.99 when you buy 3 or more. Since I have 3 little pirates in me crew, it required no thought at all.
  4. Well, Let's see. I have made coins into necklaces, earrings, bracelets, cufflinks and button covers, but I haven't made a coin into a ring. First question is...how is big is the coin? Is it small enough to sit on the top of the length of your finger as if it was a large jewel? If so, then all you be needin is a mount for it. Best place to get a ring mount is firemountain gems and beads. http://www.firemountaingems.com/ You will also need mounting adhesive like "527" bond to adhere the coin to the ring mount. Once in place and dry... you have a coin ring. These same principals apply for some types of earrings, cufflinks, some bracelets and definitely the button covers. If you looking to drill a hole big enough for your finger to fit through the coin, I not be much help there. Hope this helps.
  5. Hurricane, Those be lovely! You are a lucky gent to have plundered those for your treasure.
  6. I would have to say my favorite prize is a Pave' (that's french for fake jewels) Gold Spanish Galleon pin that's marked "Disney" on the back. It is not related to POTC to my knowledge and I have looked for more information about it. It looks like Captain Hook's ship, so I am guessing it is related to Peter Pan. The other is a complete set of 20 Frank Braynard "The Tall Ships" lithographs in the Official OpSail '76 Portfolio. I'm going to have these professional framed. That will break me treasure chest. I haven't done it yet, because I can't bear to part with them even to have them framed.
  7. Arrrrrrrgh! The watch! Oh how I would kill for one of those. (just pirate talk, not really) Ye be a lucky lass. Bidded on one on Ebay, but the price went into the stars. Someday, I may have one yet. (I do believe in fairies, I do I do...oops, wrong movie)
  8. Avast ye scoundrel, you are the one stole the treasure out from under me (outbidded me)! May I offer a suggestion. Since ye own said cling, ye might want to scan it. Once scanned, said image can be pre-printed on several formats for variable uses. I.E. on sticker paper to make stickers for the kiddie, on clear sticker paper as a decal, on post cards (make your own invitation). Ye can even make ye own temporary tatoo now. I'm not encourgaging ye to pirate said artwork, but to enjoy ye for ye own pleasure.
  9. This maker be from my port of Scottsdale, Arizona. They will make hat yer head size. Just be contacting them directly with the "click on ask seller a question" button. My obessession limit prohibits me from plundering $250 for the hat. And me husband will string me up with a short drop and sudden stop.
  10. Avast Mates, I kin stand it no more. My collection of POTC merchandise grows daily. Me whole family is outfitted with POTC shirts (not Hot Topic). Here be my list of items. Maybe I should have this insured?
  11. Rumba Rue, I like your pics of the usual suspects.
  12. Wow, Salem Bob, You sound just like a naval historian. Thanks for the details on the ships and I say, no, there could never be too many Tall Ships. Just think of the mock battles if all the Tall Ships on the West Coast were able to get together?
  13. Scupper, How sweet of you to offer. You bad boy, you. Alas, you do not live near me so I will have to do it myself.
  14. Aye, Capt. William, I sailed on the Disney Wonder. Beautiful ship. Even had such a strong storm you had to ask "what stabilizers". Me favorite sail was aboard the Lady Washington in Marina Del Rey. Yo Ho what a roller coaster of a ride. The Lady takes on passengers from her port in Marina Del Rey around the Channel Islands to the port of Long Beach. That's where I'm going to be next year. Just me and me love. (NO KIDS). Bring me that horizon.
  15. Thanks Iron Bess. I'm sure they will love it. We always like to post description of "sightings". Maybe some day I will have one of my own.
  16. You look beautiful. Becky did a wonderful job and at a great price. Wish I could figure out what me measurements were so I could order me some fine frocks. Thanks for the website info.
  17. Iron Bess, Can I share yer encounter with the fans on a Johnny board? I'm sure they would love to hear it. :)
  18. Red Maria, I sent you an email. I am interested in getting a copy. :)
  19. Is the Rose still docked at Shelter Island? I saw her there the weekend after she posed for the premier of M&C, November 14-16. She puttered about the harbour and docked next to the Star of India. I wished I could have seen her under full sail, but I got a lovely view of the Star of India out to sea. I took pictures too, but have been to busy to get them developed. Thanks for the kick in the pants.
  20. Hate to rain on anyone's parade, but I won't purchase a Roman Polanski film, even if it is about pirates. Any man worth is salt wouldn't run away from his convictions. However if all his profits went to his victim, then I would buy his pirate movie. Otherwise, I will continue to boycott him.
  21. Thank you all kindly for your information. It is much appreciated.
  22. In the chat room Sunday night, Robin stated there would be a faire at Estrella Park, Arizona on February 11-16. Said to do a search and it would come up. Well, it didn't. Anyone have information on this. Much appreciated.
  23. ye be right....my mistake it be sails not sheets. damn if I can ever get it terms right, but I'm pretty good at knowing what to pull when. I'm taking another course soon, probably with womanship in San Diego. As far as cost... being landlocked by the bloomin desert, we be willing to pay a king's ransom for the chance to sail on a beauty like the Lady Washington. The sail was me Christmas present. Me next sail will be the Lady Washington, I hope, will be the adventure sail. :)
  24. Quick....what is wrong with the doll? BLUE EYES! Jack has smoky brown eyes. Darker when you consider JD was wearing special made sunglass contacts. I guess the Japanese think all americans have blue eyes. The pictures are hilarious
