It wouldn't be so bad if the costumers who think they know it all wouldn't tear up someone else's hard work. There are good costumers and bad, it depends on what you're willing to put up with.

I went to the second (I think it was the second one) Costume College up in San Jose, CA. years ago. I was impressed by the dealer's room, but the prices on even the smallest buttons were outrageous! Also, it's a very tight group and very much what we call 'costume Nazis'. I was so disgusted by the stuck up attitudes of people I never went to another one. A 190.00 membership? They are OUT OF THEIR MINDS!!!!! I don't care who is on their roster, as Callenish said, you can get far more out of books, and other sewers here than at that place! Don't waste your time or money.

Well done indeed! Curious, who made the outfit? Just the perfect thing in that 80 degree humid weather that's in Florida for most of the year.

The price quote is from the Auto Club and is based on the length of the trailer. Our group is looking into a 6 or 8 ft. trailer which should be cheaper.

Yup, it's been very nice outside, though I understand we're due for more rain sometime next weekend. But in the meantime, we'll enjoy our wonderful sunshine in the San Diego area.

I can't use dowsing rods, uh something really weird happens when I do, they turn towards me. Doesn't matter who might own them, if I use them, bingo, I'm it! As far as I know that doesn't and isn't suppose to happen. Gee, aren't I special!

Good to hear you got the trailer back (GET INSURANCE!!!!) and the things that are gone can be replaced. Good thing the tent and other main stays of the group are still there - otherwise it would be tremendously costly to replace the things that were left. Note: Our group has looked into insurance for any trailer we get and one of our members has taken the time to call her insurance agent and this is the response: For $62.00 a year with a $250.00 deductible covers the trailer. If parked at a personal home, the homeowners insurance will cover the cost of the contents. If anyone in PRP is interested in talking to our gal and getting the name of the insurance company she uses, let us know. Rumba Rue

I highly disagree. After many years of being very involved with the group I got my credentials from to be a Minister, I have seen with my own eyes things that cannot be explained by scentific therories. Growing up I lived in a home that clearly had poltergists in it. Until one experiances such phenomena one won't understand. What I find interesting, is that our former roomate who just committed suicide on Jan. 17, is that I actually expect him to hang around here, yet nothing has happened where I might 'feel' or see something that would back that up. So why are some ghosts around and others not? So it also brings the question to mind, that while it seems many ghosts tend to hang around the last place they liked or unliked, there are others that can actually follow you. I know from my own experiance about this. I might also add regarding the orb in the picture, it is far to perfectly round to be anything else. I've had dust particals show up on pictures I've taken and I can tell the difference. (sorry about the spelling- I do wish we had spell check here)

Suggestion: Watch "Ghost Hunters" and "Ghost Hunters International" on Wed. on the SYFI channel or "Ghost Adventures" on Fridays on the Travel Channel. You'll learn all about the equipment used as trying to explain it here is a bit beyond me. You'll also become fascinated by the shows themselves.
