  1. Buckaroo Banzai! **No Matter Where You Go, There You Are**
  2. Well I first I must say, "Gary it's a pleasure to know you!" I am glad you made your ship, The Royalist, available to New Providence, (I wish I could have seen the show), and to your fine company on Saturday night, sitting around the campfire, sharing stories, passing bottles of wonderful spirits in various containers. Deigo and Rummy, I KNOW you both had great time, and a sniggling of snorting laughter at the "Tryal of Anne Bonney and Mary Reade" that PRP puts on tickled you in strange ways.... Uh, next time I'll try not to be in 'me cups' when do the narration for the play.... Diego, your outfit on Sunday, I must say, "What were you thinking God?" Scarlett my dear, glad ta see you again, I'm sure which ever way you were looking, it was looking good. See you in Ojai! To the rest of the PRP people who are members here, chalk up another great weekend to us! To those who couldn't come, more you missed a good one. I'll get the pictures up as soon as I can.
  3. Just make sure there's bars and a roof, ye don't want them escaping do ye?
  4. Aye, it warms my heart to know you are ok.
  5. You are correct. Diego just used another name for the group.
  6. Feeling like I'm torn in two. I want to support my friends that I've made here at the Pub and see at events, and I want to support the group I belong to. I am looking forward to seeing my pals from here at the Tall Ships Festival in Dana Point (and I don't care what anyone thinks!) and having a good time!
  7. Here's something that all people considering purchasing a parrot should read. I think every pet/bird store should have this up where customers can read it. A Parrot's Bill of Rights
  8. only if he can attach the feathers to your body with some tar.... Rumba hikes up skirt and runs like hell....
  9. Regarding the use of arrrrr, I was doing it long before I got into any pirate related things including PRP. Infact I was told to stop it by the head, oops I mean jerk of the Irish group I had belonged to for a short time, prior to PRP. It seems I've always done it, when grumbling about something, hurting myself, or other stupid things that I do. So maybe I've been a pirate at heart from the beginning! As for the parrot thing, well I have one, and yes he sits on my shoulder, but with a 'napkin' under him on my shoulder so he doesn't mess up my clothes.
  10. Ouch Mad Jack! Too bad I live here on the west coast otherwise I'd be more than happy to help you out with the western pleasure stuff. ahhhh, the dream of owning a horse again....just a dream now
  11. uh, I'm so clumsy, I'd probably stab myself.....I think my sword hanging by my side is as safe as I can be...
  12. Arrggggghhhh, how do I feel? Like kicking the **** out of a female I know - no, no one here at the Pub. Other than that I feel great!
  13. The Tall Ships festival IS NOT a re-enactment situation. It is completely different. No there are NO ALE stands, no liquore of any kind sold there as far as I know. This is a MODERN DAY event, and PRP is the ONLY pirate group there. It's where we really get to interact with the crowds, and I do mean crowds! The event is free to the public, there are no fences surrounding anything, there usually is one or two Security Guards at night, which PRP gladly feeds (hey we know how to get 'chummy' with the right people). There is only a very small amount of room behind the scenes for tents. Many of us, have gotten hotel rooms several months in advance (like me) who know the situation. Some people have slept in their vehicles if they can, because space is so tight. It can get hot, but even worse the humidity is high, as you are right at the ocean. So expect to sweat. At night, it can get cold and you'll find heavy wetness on things that haven't been put under cover for the night. There are food booths there so you can buy a good hamburger or hot dog or other foods and soft drinks. Anything else you want to know about this event, let me know. Rumba
  14. I'll be doin' the narration fer the play PRP does on both days (as well at the Tall Ships Festival prior to this event), an' maybe playin' with Mallory and McCall if the heat doesn't kill me.
  15. Aye Casabel it t'was good seein' ye again. I heard the horrible story from Isabel about her imprisonment - gawd I hope she gets a good lawyer and sues the hell out those $#*&^@* in Georgia! It was fun bein' in the "pirate pettin' zoo with ye both", ah, we'll have ta do that one again some day! I loved your role as Tizzy in the play, an' the burp just added to the comical flavor you are so well known for! Hope ta see ye again!
  16. I took a magnifying glass, but still couldn't tell if those were birds or X's at the top of each side. I must say this is pretty darn interesting.
