  1. Yup, I've seen vendors selling the worst possible bodices for women! To me if they aren't going to put in decent metal boning I wouldn't even consider buying one. Oh ya, the spillover from ill fitting bodices is not pretty!
  2. I have one like that, unfortunately, I've lost a lot of weight, so it's too big to wear....
  3. The cost is around $50 plus per person. If you want the Captian's seating up front, it's another 20 bucks. You get wine, beer (no choices on either of those),soda, or water with the dinner. Drinks prior to opening will COST you, so bring bucks! The gift shops have pretty much what I've seen elsewhere, a tad cheaper, but not by much. There are colored sections, the ones that are the best, Yellow,Red , Orange, Purple. Stay away from the Blue and Green sections- those are really bad angle seating. Be sure and ask for those sections when you make reservations, and you must make reservations! They will ask for a credit card and charge you at the time of making the reservations. They will not do it any other way.
  4. I absolutely hate wearing bras. Only when I have to...
  5. Well that reminds me NOT TO SIT IN YOUR LAP! HMMMFFFFFF!!
  6. I keep sayin' I swears I gots 'em, they jest keep fallin' down an' disapprearin' into my bodice no matter what the cut o' the top. I'm suppose ta be a 38C, looks down shirt...dang what's with you girls, perk up!....I'm waitin'....waiting...........waiting................waiting...I give up, they still look like defalted volleyballs....
  7. Nope, I'm in the San Diego area. I use to live in Tujunga, then Sunland for about 4 or 5 years before I moved south. I really like the Tujunga area, I just don't like the thought of going through another Northridge quake....
  8. Several things I have noticed as I'm putting together the Hunting Coat, that all of you gals might want to consider. The pattern only goes up to size 26. The arms will be somewhat tight especially at the elbows if you choose to go with that size. You might want to enlarge them for comfort. Yes it was 'period' to have them tight, but hey, I like to bend my arms... Same goes for the general body of the coat, if you're a large gal, do enlarge the pattern. I've sent a message to Kass about this already, regarding lining the coat. I line all my stuff, and unless you know how to do sleeve lining you're up the creek, cuz there's no real specfic directions for that. Truth is I would have liked to see more detailed pictures of how to do it with the pattern. I've made more than one mistake already trying to understand the directions. In several cases, I just had to give up, and bring seams together in ways I would rather have not. But thank goodness it's all on the inside where it can't be seen by the general looker of the outfit. This pattern is definately more for experianced costume makers. I'm about halfway done on it. When it's done, I'll post a pic.
  9. I ended up with Liberals LIBERALS - usually embrace freedom of choice in personal matters, but tend to support significant government control of the economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net" to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations, defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.
  10. Sounds interesting....but Los Angeles? The cost of gas will make me forgo that event I'm afraid....
  11. Well as a female wench I carry my belaying pin as a weapon, not a dildo.
  12. Siren, I hope things will improve for you. It makes me really sad to read what you said. I have been thinking much of you, so hopefully my healing thoughts and prayers to you will reach you.
  13. Well I can be bribed....provided it's worth the bribe. However, as some who know me personally and those who don't, being a Moderator here at the Pub, I do not play favorites, or give more freedom to one than the other. To me everybody is on the same ground.
  14. Ah a man that plays the part...a bit stiffish are ye? Well we'll jest get Lady Barbossa up here to ply her whims...or whips depending on what comes first to soften ye up. BTW-cool duds dude.
  15. Sorry I took the pic's down. I can easily put them back up. Pirate figures front Pirate figures back
  16. Well went last night to see the show and eat. Sure it was hokey, but you know what, we had a great time! Before the show even starts when you enter the building, there's 'station's' about where you can get a variety of appetizers. The drinks were damn costly, but I had to shell out $14.95 just because I wanted the darn coconut that had been carved into a sort of female pirate- to use for the camp decor for PoTC group. The food: the chicken was good, the shrimp with pieces of lobster in garlic sauced butter was ok. I found two small pieces of lobster... We were very impressed by the actors who truly had to have real athletic ability to do the stunts they were doing. My hat is off to them! Some people did come in costume...though not as good as what Boats, Roland and I were wearing. Though there were a couple of others in decent outfits, I got a picture of one of them with our group. Here's some pictures that were taken: Pirates Dinner Theater You are not allowed to take pictures during the show. There's a pre-show, that's where I got the entertainer pictures. All in all I highly recommend it as a great time- but a very expensive great time...
