I'm back.. from outer space... sorry, wrong era. Rumba, thanks for the help but the spamming isnt that bad, except once in a while. I don't think we need to close down the FG site unless everyone else's is closed too... Just an opinion, but to close just ours isnt quite fair to us. Thanks for your help tho.. I did log in as guest once, didnt realize it until it posted.

Fools Gold :Looking for Midwest pirates
Merrydeath replied to Merrydeath's topic in Find a Crew or Introduce One
we also have a possible meeting at the Minn ren Faire. I know Mad Jack would be happy to see our shining faces again.. and buy him a drink. :) I'll see about the tent this week, either 9x8x7 or 12x10x7.. more money and harder to move but so much flippin room! I"m also getting more articles printed this week and see about staining them as I recoup. Sewing up a few bit of my garb that needed time and mending. -
sweet and makes you pucker? sticky and licky?

Having some difficult surgery on 3-31, not sure when I will be online again but I'll have Sea Rover or Bess post for me... its 4 hours long and then 4-6 week recovery. Say a few prayers to those gods and even dogs... I have to be ready to sell my house an start with faire season soon.

aye, Snow, and I"ll make popcorn for us, and put in a blood-thirsty movie to keep us awake with ya... and I understand about the wakefulness of being alone.

3 days? I'm not the man I used to be... ! even superwoman gets tired after a while. um.. you smelling like a Hormel hot dog isnt quite what I had in mind.. a horny pirate is about right. and the Mississippi is about 6 miles wide where it meets Illinois. The channel is deep enough for large boats and ships, and the barges stick close to the shores. That is where I used to dream of sailing and seeing the seas... my first taste of piracy. If the dam is opened, the water drops to waist deep along the shore. I had to push a boat out of a mud flat when I was young. Worst date I EVER had.

oooh la la.. pat and caress too? you will turn my head, and the rest of me! you are a scoundrel, but that is why we like you.. :)

since the crew thread is locked, I'm adding a thread for the Fools Gold pirates and adding that we are looking for more lost souls. we are looking for part re-enactor/ part fantasy pirates in the midwest to join us as we go to ren fairs and pirate fests, special events, and movie primiers. You need to be a bit out-going and have some pirate gear, but mostly you need a spirit of adventure and a fondness for travel! apply at capnmerrydeath@foolsgoldpirates.comcom this is also our thread for the crew, since we seem to have lost our thread from before.

I knew a guy who fell from GRace's lap, is that the same thing? welcome to the pub, lassy! and tell Ray (my signature) to pour me a drink on your tab... newbie pays the first round, if she has a mind to! in any case, have a grand time in the pub

Hello me dears, I'll join you for one drink to warm up and then off to work.. I wanted to tell you, Christine, that I hope you feel better soon from your procedure, and that I hope your soul feels better too. I lost a friend 2 weeks ago. Three weeks ago I was trying to find an address to call him for a summer visit, and now his widow is moving back here. pour me something warm, and I'll add some potatoes to the fire pit.

I"m truly glad that you survived that coma, and are the sweet person you are today.. you would miss your smile, lass! I'm having some difficult surgery on the 31st. I'll be off work 4-8 weeks, depending on how it goes. Hopefully this will take care of some problems I have had for a while and I'll be bounce back ok. I'll be at 1/2 salary and no other income for that time. Thank the gods for my deep freeze and ramin noodles!

I always did love the Romanov eggs... they were given every year to family members from 1885 to the end of Nicholas in 1917, and made by Faberge' http://www.pbs.org/treasuresoftheworld/a_n...ber_fabfrm.html

I didnt set my skirts on fire but I did pass out from cooking in a tight bodice and pants. My death sounds reasonable for me... In keeping with long and glorious tradition, you are burned at the stake.

yes you men do smell.. not sweat at the end of the day, but that masculine testosterone smell that says.. I would love to have you til the sun comes up 3 days from now. Its not that smell of Ivory or Tag, or anything like soap.. its just maleness. The Hudson?? any where near the Mississippi?

I knew I was more pirate then wench when I offered to gut someone who pinched my butt at faire. Wenches have to be nice most of the time. Pirates just spit at the offender and think about keel-hauling. I knew my family understood me when I got a cutlass for Mothers day from my kid, instead of tupperware.
