Be that the book by one Atwater-Rhodes? If so, she writes a grand yarn and as a young'un too. Vivian Vande Velde is a writer that pens a good tale too. I take the time for them when I'm not a reading the NQG newsletter. Darkmalkin, Malice in Wonderland is a grand name too. I know the little helion, and she be a chip off the ole pirate! (its a compliment!)
