I've been too long without sleep.. I cant sleep too long or something wakes me. I had a fight with an old and dear friend, more things to plague me.. someday I'll find peace, and then the damn alarm will wake me. :)

i have a similar one but with skulls and bones on the front. Agreed, it makes a statement when trying to sign up someone onboard.

very nice work... and agreed a little color will make it look more appropriate. I dont think a pirate in off white would last long. :)

i have the money and the wish.. i just won't have the time. Damn. the tools look awesome! I have a friend who does portable forging but makes everything look old.. should be wonderful!

is there anyway to see the pics without the music and slideshow? I'd like to see it but in slow mo... and a moment of silence for Jon Rose..

I was hoping to maybe go this year, but I have family coming about the same time. (sigh.. maybe next year!)

Crismon Davy- there is also Captain Steve who DJ's as a pirate, the Jolly Rogers singing group at KCRF, the Musical Blades at KC are singers/swordsmen, the pirates at MNRF crew (sings and swordplay), the Blue Gryphn Privateers out of Sioux Falls, and my own crew the Fools Gold out of Iowa/Min/ Ill/ Wisc. I have heard of a fellow that does his job in Omaha in pirate garb but not sure if he re=anacts. the Sioux City 'riversance' festival is early Oct and I'm sure there might be a few mateys there that are entertainment pirates. ME me ME me... I want to go too! You know what would be really great.. if I could go and meet all my MN friends and some new friends and have a drink at Mac's pub and play with the pirates and maybe be in the parade and see Bess and Searover and.. oh wait.. I can! it rocks to be a pirate captain.

Glad to hear about the dance, Briar rose! That can work off some of the effects of a 'wee one'. :) I"m very frustrated. I need to move out of my house, but trying to decide what to keep and what to get rid of is terrible. There isnt any going back either. No home to store things in, no basement to put boxes in, and I have TMS syndrome.. too much sh*t. Lily, I hope your pup is ok.. I"ll pray to the Gods for you.

that he has fingers and lips, and the imagination and desire to play with me often. that he likes to have it reciprocated too. That he likes to just snuggle and appreciate that someone wants you for being you, and not what you can do for them. (I think that made sense. Time for bed!)

as a mom and habitual do-gooder, I have to say I am very proud of you for doing that.. as a pirate, I have to hang my head in shame, that a fellow Brethern would be so..... law-abiding. then again, if something did happen to the crew, you didnt get in trouble trying to take it.. right smart of you to think about that!

all I can say is.. WOW!! I didnt know you were that good! I can use a rubber stamp pretty good but other wise its stick figures.. AWESOME

and just to prove it CAN be done.. SeaRover and Red Bess just celebrated 24 years of marital bliss.... go over and say cheers for them making it this far.
