Somehow after watching the first three. I get the feeling that the super duper computer program that they talk about all the time is just BS. Its prob just made up. After all my dealings with reality TV I have found that its all BS.

I too was looking at the larger tent and drueling. My older brother Emory has one just like the tent on the left but I am sick of barrowing it. BTW this one was claimed by Pirates Magazine. Now your all in trouble! See you at a camp soon!

Cool. These will be great to have around. I will start on your bowie right away.

Nice upgrade! Well done Hand! -
Awesome story! Love it!

Sounds like there is a chance that niether will fit me right. I am quite small and I plan on getting even smaller in the tummy area. Although I do have big friends that I owe a gift or so too. How about a nice D-ring Bowie knife valued at $225.00 for both waistcoasts and 2 necklaces?
-
Sounds good to me. I will try to have the sword all done by then. If not I will at least bring the pieces and we can talk then. I am easy to please. I dont like anything too flashy, but that sword's value will be more then most of the cutlasses I make. Just warning you.

By my pricing structure it would be about $1,200. By Tony Swattons it would be about $3,200. :) -
I am def trying to get a few period kits together. There are a ton of local events that I am missing out on here in MD. I would love to come out and play sometimes instead of manning a booth all the time. I can try to have this done for you by Blackbeard my friend. I just learned a much faster technique for the multi fullers up the back of the blade. This wont be a cheap piece. I think I have the antler here too. Sharp or blunt ?

I have been watching this show. Some episodes have been better then others. Viking vr Samurai was fun. I think Gladiator vr American Indian was a bit of a stretch but man some of the weapons demos were AWESOME! I can't wait to see what they do with Pirates.

If you perhaps want to go the custom way of things... Here is a picture of a short version that Tony Swatton and myself made for Dave Nichols. This blade was forged out of a 1075 railroad spring. The gaurd was forged from a 1"x1" wrought Iron bar. The grip was hand fluted cocobola. We could always do another mate! But I would go with Callenish's suggestion if your looking for a good first hanger. -
I like the brown one for myself and I would prob take the black on as well. Any idea on sizes? I am a skinny fellow. I dont care for the pants but thanks for posting. Wouldnt mind tossing in one of your hand made beaded pieces!

Ooo. I would like me one of these fully loaded. I always say I am going to make myself some cool gear but I never do....

So I thought I might give this another try. Last time worked out OK so here it goes. Those of you who dont know me I am the lead bladsmith at Baltimore Knife and Sword and I am the 1stmate of Pirates Magazine. I found myself once again needing some stuff!!! After the Fells Point Pirate Invasion I realized that I yet do not have enough piratical stuff. I dressed several people up for the event and I couldnt believe that I ran out of gear. I myself was left with wearing old garb and a ren fair shirt... Needs! - nice but plain shirts. Can be dirty and warn or can be clean. Looking for correct period not ren fair shirts. - Im looking for a few wastecoasts that I can fancy up with cast buttons or something. I have a nice pattern to make some but I wouldnt mind getting some others in the mean time. - Slops. I have been eyeing up a few pairs of slops that a friend of Dave Mantz makes but he never has my size. He was sold out last year at blackbeard and at the winter market he was out of the style I wanted... so if you have some good slops that fit. I have been wokring with hand me down britches for awhile that are always too long for me.My waste size is 32" but I can fit a bit smaller too... -shoes and boots. I have quite a few but for the right pair I would be intrested. Im only looking for top notch foot wear though. I am a bit sour about foot wear. Used to own a sweet pair of Sarah Juniper boots that got stolen from me so now I cant see spending the money on anything else. -weaponry! Firearms are always good. Cant have enough. Im only into real firing guns though. No props. -Sashes...I am looking for a few new shashes. i have just about every cooler sash and I am sick of them all. I want some period patterens and tattered ones. -hats... I have I plenty of tricorns. Anything else neat then please do ask. -Belts and leatherwork is always needed. I make some sweet buckels but I hate leather work. I am a small guy. 5'9" and kinda thin. Shoe size 8.5-9.5 Hat size 7 Pretty much looking for nice stuff. I have a bunch of generic things and I want to upgrade for myself. I am also up for other neat items that I may not have thought about. If there are any craftsmen that want to trade then please mention it. I might even be able to hook you up with some Pirates Magazine exposure. What I am offering is my work. I can make just about anything out of metal. Swords of course are my main thing. I also have quite a bit of silver pirate themed rings and jewelry. I can also offer magazines tho if we go that route it wont be mine but the traded items will go into pirates mag's chest. I hope some people take me up on this but no harm done if you dont. I think in this economy we should all max out the barder system but that is how I always think. Please post in this thread. I often dont check my inbox daily but i will get email notifications about this thread.

Thats ok. You aren't missing much just yet. Just a handfull of pictures up now. We have about 7 cameras of pictures to sort through. So far we just have a few that random people have emailed us. My theme from the weekend was me directing traffic. Here is a shot that someone got of me in front of Max's. You wouldnt believe the power of a tricorn. Everyone listened to me. Even the cops let me go about my biz. Someone during the crawl placed a "pirate saftey" streemer on me...Basterds! Here is one of our own Talderoy with captain Charles. Like I said. Many more pictures coming. -

I am loving what has been coming on the TV the last few months. Nat Geo has been great. Even the travel channel has been doing some excellant things. I have been working on an index of That kind of TV shows. I will post soon. My TIVO is full of this stuff. Im telling you that TIVO is made for pirates!

Aye!I always do love looking at your fine weaponry Callenish! Perhaps this year I can talk you into trading me some sort of firearm for one of my swords! I have been into customizing some pistols with engraving and cast work. I prob wont have anything to show you but if I do I would love your opinion on my work.
