EMAIL RETURNED FROM SALTER PATH CAMPGROUND: my vote is for here...wot say you? shall we decide on a set of sites so we can be next to each other? from website: You may make reservations for less than four (4) nights in the spring and fall anytime after we open on March 26, 2004 ----- A deposit of one night’s rent, applied towards your first night’s rental, is required at the time the reservation is made. The balance is due upon arrival and may be paid with cash, check, Master Card or Visa. Deposits for fall/summer will be: front row oceanfront, $40/43, oceanfront $37/39, under the trees Oceanside, $30/32, and soundfront $31/34. ----- Minimum stays for reservations: 2 nights for weekends ----- A 48-hour notice of cancellation or change of arrival date is required for deposit refund (example: you are due to arrive on Friday, you must cancel or notify office of a change in arrival by the Wednesday before). ----- Check-in time for reservations is anytime after 2:30 pm (and before 11:00 pm). Check-out time is by 2:00 pm. Early check-in is available if your site is open on the day you arrive (you’ll need to call that morning to see if you site is open and ready). $15.00 will allow you to check in before noon, $10.00 will allow you to check in between noon and 2:30 pm. This option is only available if your reserved site is open before check-in time. If your site is not available, we regret that we have no parking available for you to wait. We can recommend beach access points and shopping where you can wait. ----- white $40, blue $37, light blue $30, light gray $27, gray $31

roflol....post more...these are great!!! can anyone with a computer brain get us all in a "group photo"???
-
alright mates...i had planned on a cool website, but hubby has yet to "fix" it for me...so i leave you to go village photo for the pictures. feel free to use them! Gasparilla Photo Album as for the review. i'm not a skilled writer, so i'll make it short n sweet. i can't even begin to compare the traffic in tampa to washington dc, but we (micah n i) choose to ride a shuttle in from the bucc's football stadium. pleaseant ride, not every far away...only $6 pp...well worth it. parking was "free". we arrived to find many people claiming their spots on the parade route. with GREAT advice from lady elaina we purchaced bleacher seats which kept us away from the screaming, drunk college kids, and the pushing. no other way to go...get the bleacher seats. con: i was too short to catch beads and alot of people lost their footing jumping on the bleachers...be careful. the crowd..not very hip on the pirate thing...i saw a FEW people in the stands dressed in pirate attire. mostly consisted of a bandana or eyepatch with some kind of pirate hat. when we walked part of the parade route, most people thought we were in the parade. (we were decked out). the parade....very good! the floats were beautiful. SOME PEOPLE couldn't hear when their name was shouted out....wonder who that was....*cough, sneeze "titanic". it started in front of us at 3pm, and finished by 5pm. bring earplugs for kids shrieking "B E A D S" in your ear for several hours. oh...and a net...like a "kid" kind you catch butterflys n bugs in. it makes it easier to catch the beads. overall...i give it a "b", i'd like to plan the timing of arrival & parade starting a little better. it would be more fun with a group of people. bring some food, etc. if you have any questions, please post... and yes...i would go again.
