  1. Agreed, Captain Jim. Lovely specimen, though, and would seem fitting for a Captain, to contain documents, etc. Thanks for the image and info, Mission!
  2. Thank you, Jill, for your kind post, and to you, Mad Jack Morgan, for your interest! I have yet to receive a positive indication that the shoes are, in fact, in stock ~ but, it is getting closer to the time they were available last year, so I remain hopeful to have something to offer soon. I will post as soon as I hear! YHS, Mary Diamond
  3. Another belated birthday wish, but, heartfelt nonetheless! To another bold Taurean lady ~ Huzzah!
  4. To my dear Pirate Gardener friend ~ I do hope your birthday was filled with sunshine and love, fresh spring blossoms and warm wishes all around, with the promise of fair winds, full holds and great days to be had the rest of the year. Hoping to see you again soon, that we might share a drink or two ~ and sending you my most heartfelt (albeit belated) wishes for a Happy and Healthy birthday ~
  5. My dear friends ~ thank you all so much for remembering! My wonderful husband took today off to spend with me, and has a party planned for me tomorrow... I am well and truly blessed, and have much to be grateful for.

  7. Thank you, Bo! I must pull my copy off the shelf and give it another read ~ it has been 4 years or so since I last did. And, this is the perfect time to do so ~ Happy Spring to All!
  8. Ah, to dear Oderlesseye ~ a very Happy Birthday!
  9. Lady Seahawke, you tease most mercilessly ~ Not a single photo?
  10. Looks like you had a grand time! Fantastic that your mates played along as well ~
  11. I would like to add, these Draughts showcase William's talent and high attention to detail ~ The draughts are a lovely and handy reference as well, to better associate oneself with ship terms. I personally bought mine while at PiP, and have indeed had mine framed. Now, if the frame shop would only call to say it is ready!
  12. A Fantastic series, with a great deal of attention paid to accuracy. Well worth watching ~
  13. Very well done! That is helpful in many regards ~
  14. Beautiful! I wish I had luck with lupines here in Chicago, but, it is not to be so. Rumba, you may want to check your camera for a Cloudy setting ~ it should help with the colors on semi-overcast days.
  15. In good company, indeed! I also have: Congratulations! You managed to pass as a man in the army, and died like one, too, of lead poisoning from a bullet. Come on, girls, lets start our own army!
  16. Fascinating! Thank you for that bit of history, Blackbead ~ such an explanation makes it easier to understand and remember.
  17. Hmmm? Did I hear talk of a chick fight? Cheating at dice? Nicked watch? I know of at least 3 (4? Silkie, you in?) people that could handle that ~ speaking of which, we must get Scarlett Rai in here... I spoke with her last year along such lines, and she was quite interested.
  18. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday, indeed!
  19. Wishing you a wonderful birthday, filled with happiness, smiles and laughter that continues all year long ~
  20. Lovely items! Was that first quarter 1700s? If so, fantastic!
  21. Ransom, my dear ~ Try adjusting the leading (space between lines) for the font ~ some faces require wider spacing to display properly. BTW ~ Welcome home!
  22. Warm wishes for you on your Birthday! May it be very Happy ~
  23. Agreed ~ But, Spring is just around the corner ~ and then I shall be busy beyond imagine. I wonder when they will start the sales season (landscape design/nursery) this year?
