  1. Thank you most kindly for the bump, Michael ~ and thank you as well, Oderlesseye, for your interest. Indeed, we shall need a fair number of orders before I can commit to the Large Investment required. All interested parties are heartily encouraged to speak up ~ keep in mind it will take up to a month to recieve these from the manufacturer in Italy. YHS, Mary Diamond
  2. Ah, Dear Lady B ~ I am most pleased that the shoes worked out well for you, and thank you so much for the kind review! I must say, I found the sample pair to be quite comfortable myself.
  3. Hmmm... huh? popping in for a minute, while scurrying around preparing for PiP ~ It would seem we now have (almost) 2 Red Handed Jill's! Welcome aboard, JillHandedRed ~ I need more CAFFEINE ~ Pepsi Gods, smile on me! No rum for me... Yet.
  4. Now, now, Quartermaster James ~ let's see if we can get a representative picture of said items for sale. Scratchy ~ would you be so kind as to oblige us with an image of, say, the doglock and the partisan?
  5. To my dear piratical family ~ I Wish you all a Wonderful Thanksgiving!
  6. Awwww, William ~ That is so COOL! (No joke intended, but funny still! OK, I am simple that way.) Love the details.
  7. Well done, Patrick! I would have hated for you to be added to the "I can't Make It to PiP 2008" list ~ it is too long already.
  8. *happy sigh :) I LOVE this stuff.
  9. Ooohhh yeah ~ so sad that it was not continued. I miss Farscape too.
  10. While the flanged mace sounds nice, I would see 2 problems with it. 1) flanges might become stuck in zombie (Let Go!), and 2) that sucker is going to feel like a million pounds after a half hour of beating your way home. I would much prefer a more distanced technique ~ although piano wire would be a lovely option for those more distracted, slow zombies.
  11. Capt. Bo, Michael S Bagley, and Captain Grey ~ Thank you all so much for your kind compliments ~ I am happy to be of service! In response to your question, Michael ~ I will have limited stock available at PiP ~ first come, first serve, at the Archangel camp.
  12. Oh! He looks simply Smashing! Very nicely done. And... Nice Shoes!
  13. Well done, Captain Jim! Though, you are taking potential vic- unh, customers! away from Mission and his lovely new bone saw. A word to the wise ~ don't forget to also pick up moleskin and bandaids ~ the humidity might be a bit higher down in the Keys.
  14. Lady Cassandra ~ Thank you. I have been to the shows, but my jewelry making is truly a side, side, side hobby (next to gardening, design, woodworking, sewing, leatherwork, etcetera.). This one piece is just irritating me ~ a lovely setting, with an impossible size. I was my own boss for a while ~ but I hate that level of paperwork, and was really tired of design for hire. Captain Jim ~ I have seen the precious metal clay, and was instantly struck by the genius of it. I would love the opportunity to work with it ~ when I can afford the outlay!
  15. Thank you both ~ I have a lovely setting, but am going through fits trying to find a cab that size, that isn't jade or turquoise or agate.
  16. (popping in, a bit flustered) Oi! Not a full-blown jeweler, but I have been known to piece together a thing or two. Any chance you've seen 27mm cabochons, preferably faceted? Having a devil of a time locating one...
  17. Mission and Capt. Jim ~ I'll just sit a miniature of each of them on Mark's shoulders, to let them whisper in his ear. (a la POTCAWE, or, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back) I'll let everyone else decide who gets the horns.
  18. I'll be happy to take over the treatment when he gets to PiP. (He doesn't actually need his arm, does he?) HHmmm...Ship's doctor Mission to take over treatment...as I have said before, the loss of a limb only enhances your portrayal of a Pyrate character. Mary, next time don't SLAP him so hard...and not with the cast-iron frying pan... Mark's response ~ I looked up our insurance and it strictly states that Mission performing any medical work would void any payments or warranty. Aye, Silkie, I'll leave him to you and the girls ~ mind you well, though... I WANT HIM BACK!
  19. Yes, Please, I would like to participate ~ I will PM you with the particulars.
  20. Yes, please. I shall also respond to the other thread.
  21. Good News! Good News!!! After a bit of Bad News ~ My Dearest Mark requires shoulder surgery this Friday for a torn rotator cuff and SLAP tear (both in the right shoulder) ~ too much volleyball, and we aren't as young as we used to be. The Good News ~ the surgeon allowed him to still go on Vacation! He has to wear a sling 8 hours a day, but I am happy he will still be able to attend.
  22. Aye, Mark and myself will also require a tree or 2 to tie off to ~ a makeshift tent of a canvas sheet for us. No peeking!
  23. In which case, He may require protection from Them!
  24. *sigh ~ Poor Mission, in his interminable search for that lovely bone saw. But... Yay! Greg, so happy to hear you are alive, if bleeding a bit ('tis a mere flesh wound, right?), and will be making it to PiP! I look forward to seeing you there, and spending more money on your lovely wares. YHS, Mary
