  1. Of course they do Willliam.
  2. To be a red head...................................ask yourselves these questions. Were you picked on/beat up as a child for the color of your hair? Did you attract unwanted attention from males and or females alike because of the color of your hair? Been called carrot top, flame brain, etc............................. Heard comments like...."What's the name of the color of your hair?", "Where did you get your red hair from?" "Are you a natural red head?", "I love red heads", "I've always wanted to be with a red head". "Does the carpet match the drapes?" Have a sweet sunny disposition like myself? I AM a red head without freckles
  3. I didn't burn at PIP either but I did get a horrible heat rash. I hope that doesn't happen again
  4. My thoughts and prayers to Captain Tony's family and condolences to the people of Key West. I didn't get to meet him but I did spend a fair amount of time trying to get a quarter in that blasted fishes mouth. I'll get it this year.
  5. hmmm, looks red to me. I vote yes
  6. Edward and I voted this evening. No waiting. In and out in 5 min. Woohoo.
  7. You aren't hijacking my plan. I'm still making the soup. But it could be an option for another meal or an alternative if anyone doesn't want the soup. Besides, it's not really up to me.
  8. I'll give you a hand chopping, but would prefer not to spend the day cooking. The soup I can make at home and bring with me.
  9. Are you volunteering to make it?
  10. Well, that explains a lot... *Ducks and runs for cover...* Did you forget that Edward and I are camping at PIP this year?
  11. I have some good one liners for when people ask me "where did you get your red hair", but my favorite is.......................... I stood out in the rain too long and my brain rusted.
  12. *Lily joins Syren at the table with her tankard*
  13. Wait Im feeling left out here....Bacon..no.....RedHead...no....*pouts* Awww, Syren...........Hugs. I'll loan you some of mine.
  14. I'll be sure to make plenty of soup for everyone. 5ish sounds good to me and I would love the help serving. What do you think Mistress Silkie?
  15. My tip is that ye find someone else to serve... perhaps ye would like to borrow Bess? Hmmm I wonder.................perhaps we could make a contest of serving wenches to see who could raise the most money for a good cause.
  16. I have to serve it too Well, I guess if I'm serving and receiving tips as well. Any and all money I receive will be donated to Diosa's Fill My Chest... Find a Cure.
  17. Aye Captain, I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying
  18. Trying to catch up on a month's worth of pub posts. sigh
  19. I'll be arriving on the 24th, Edward on the 29th. We are staying in a condo before and after, but camping during the festival. We'll be available to help where needed.
  20. Oi, do I have a lot to catch up on. If it will help, I can make enough minestrone soup that can be served as a meal for the entire camp. (Perhaps on Saturday before the parade?). No money needed but a head count would be good. I can make it ahead of time so all that would be needed are babysitters as it heats. Maybe a few loaves of bread to add and that could be a decent meal. pm me if interested so I'll know how much to make.
  21. Edward and I will be there for the whole festival as well. I'm arriving on the 24th and Edward on the 29th.
  22. Edward and I will be there. Bah, not enough meat on Sterling to roast.
  23. Edward and I are so very grateful to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. After reading Rumba's comment, I have to share this story. Edward and I had been trying to decide if we were going to spend the night in the hospice or go home to get a good night sleep. We knew my father wouldn't pass if we were in the room but we didn't want to leave either. So we stepped outside to get some air and talk about it. After a moment or two, I looked up into the sky and there was one and only one star shining so brightly. It was beautiful yet strange to see. About a minute or two later, the nurse came out to get us and let us know that my father had passed. I know my father will always be in my heart but now I know he will also be the brightest star in the sky watching over me. Hugs to you all. Lily
  24. Once again, your thoughts and prayers have truly been appreciated. My father's journey has come to an end. He passed away peacefully at 6:44 pm. With love and gratitude. Lily & Edward
