I keep and have been adding to (thanks to all here ) a library on my laptop. It's quick and easy to run notepad or word and copy/paste on the fly. Then you can spend some time reorganizing and reading it bit by bit later on. I am also building a book library. However, for reading, using, searching and sharing, keeping it electronically is beneficial at least to me.. a cd or download onto a zip drive is also quite a lot more portable. For memorizing, I am terrible remembering names , but I never miss a voice. As for facts, I have found if I read something like a Historical novel or article, it's much easier to remember all the details including facts. Try to learn a general bit of everything, but stick to one area of REAL learning at a time..ship types, famous pirates/privateers, clothing etc. ~ Hope this helps!

Aye, leftovers for tomorrow, tonights fare was fresh baked ham, sweedish meatballs, pasta, a great goat cheese salad, veggies, rolls and rosemary bread, cookies and cake.

Mmmm that cheesecake was goode...I shouldn't have, but I ate salad first..that's healthy right?

Last night at this time..soaked in DiSarrono and having a grande tyme! Tonight at the same time? Just started my shift at work Oh well "give some, get some..."

Patrick Hand was my first thought as well, tho there are so many here deserving of recognition for their skill and willingness to share the vast inpressive knowledge and experience they posess. However, I would be hard pressed to put it more eloquently than William has stated above. Mr. Hand, ye has me vote!

My Grandma lived to be 100 andd 3 months. Dec 11 was her birthday. Amazing the first hand stories they can tell about life in "their" time I'm in an odd state this AM. It's been a not typical holiday and the jurys still out on something.. but I know later when I see my family and get me drink on...LOL I'll once again be the Jolly Cat! Rum....lots of rumm till it's gone Blackfoot, it's only 1 day. You have all week to fix it! Enjoy yourself and have a pirate like (no guilt) Holiday. You work hard, you deserve it!

It will be my pleasure and honor to lay out such a fete for all ye we have a plate of Foie Gras to start, hot and crisp roasted duck with plum gravy (extra dish o that as well), Rosemary roasted potatos and some excellent vegetables cooked to a slightly aldente perfection, Fresh stone hearth baked rolls. All set on a beautiful 1730 Welsh farmhouse table and of course a bottle of crisp dry 25 year old Hungarian Tokaji The wine of Kings The fine Cuban cigars from club Havana and the port are for after dinner! To decorate the Kate would be wonderous! I'll be stepping out of the kitchen to cool off and see what you have accomplished A Merry Happy Holiday feast for all!
