As Jacky Tar steps from the cage and begins t question the firey headed stranger, Red Cat stares daggers at her..one part o her mind tryin t figure out if th dissapearin o treasure be a slight o hand, and one part sizin her up for a weak spot.. thar hasta be a bargainin point thinks she...everyone has a price..or a secret wot's wort a price.... Eyes is about to toss nother piece o gold out ta see if'n Tia's powder works.

With a merry wink and a nod from Eyes, Red Cat begins fillin her pockets and even takes off her hat loadin it wi everything wot she kin carry. Chloe is scoopin up armfuls, Ranson n Jacky stand there in a trance from all the gold for a moment, then shove in amongst th others t get at th loot! Eyes is drapin jewels about hisself and singin a happy tune....

I am thinking right now is one of those rare moments of peace. Looking out from the windows, the airfield lights blend into the Christmas lights we have strung all around here plus the tree. We work in the dark at night and finally the radios and phones are quiet..everyone is just about dozing for a brief few minutes having been here since 9:30 last night. (It's 4:31) The morning chaos will kick in like a steamroller in about 15 minutes. But this is nice... I think I'll enjoy it. Shhhhhhhh......

Patrick, As usual you have a way with simply stating things to smooth any ruffled feathers I appreciate all the sides of discussion here, healthy debate make us all think. It also widens paths of thought or perception that may have narrowed unintentionally over time (ack that was hippie ) Anyhow. I came, I read , I spoke, I was listened to.. hopefully you found some interest or appreciated a different point of view here.. I would love to be a girly girl in court with the big pouffy dress etc.. I do know (though I could certainly read more) that there were many powerful women in those days. Abigail Adams is one of my faves (non GaOP). My final opinion as sadly I only have so much time.. is that thinking about it, maybe if we get this out of our system first, we'll be tempted to try the other stuff. I still believe education doesn't ALWAYS have to be about the gender of the educator as the educatee may not see it that way. Especially if you start off with "ya know...there really weren't many women who did this but let me tell you about..." All, have a great nite.
