  1. Oh ...and the mud. I was so intent on thanking and handing out the praise that I failed to mention the rain & mud. We needed a bilge pump for the site. It had been raining so much that the ground would not take any more water. We danced in the mud even if we didn't want to.

  2. I can actually form sentences now so let me try this again.

    THANK YOU ALL!

Thanks to all the crews for being there for us to hunt.

Thanks for believing in Fionn and playing along even when he wasn't believable!

    Thanks for making me smile.

Blackbeard's Crew you were great hosts and I plan on celebrating many more anniversaries of my first festival (Bb 2006) for years to come.

Bonies! Dang you looked good! I have come to the conclusion that anything you wish to do you can do and do it well! I love you all! I can't wait to see you again ...the sooner the better!

Sacred Heart, you thank you for the images to keep the memory fresh for years to come. You guys are awesome.

Other guest crews, some I know some that I have seen in passing over the past four years, perhaps next year we shall actually meet! LOL

To the pressed men & women of the Archangel (this time the ...blast what was that name ...drat ...the group from Ohio! Sorry ...couldn't recall the spelling) We did not chat much but I very much enjoyed the time we spent on Saturday ...or was that Sunday on the lawn. I especially appreciate the man (Shannon?) who ran for the 300 plastic forks.

Gentleman Scottie & Smiling Kate! What wonderful people you are. I don't think I have seen either of you not smiling. It is alway a pleasure having you around.

To my Captain and the Crew of the Archangel. Captain, you have a way of finding the right people. Mistress Alexander and Mister O'Keiff, thank you for sharing your time, skills, possessions, and your hearts with us. Mistress McKinney and Bess, your antics as always put many a simile on many a face, keep up the good work. Quartermaster Roberts, thank you for your work, your skills and your ear. Master MarSh, It was a pleasure meeting you, your lovely wife and beautiful daughter. The smiles you gave me were very much appreciated, I even missed your squealing when you left. (I had to ask Edward to make fun of me. LOL). Mister Hyradon(sp?), I have never met a nicer young man, I very much appreciate your assistance and your company.Loogie & Flem, love you both. Captain, to you my appreciation, admiration and respect. ....geeze ...sounds like an acceptance speech. lol Well in a way it is ...I accept the love and friendship of my crew members.

I wish we were physically closer but there are some who can never be closer to in my heart!

  3. Sorry for the delay folks. I've been stuck in Stays hell all day. :D Going to get an update tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.
I thought I saw you there! I was popping in and out between calls. BINDING IS DONE! 17 holes for the lacing and I am done. :D

Well, sinless I find that I have time to add the colored ribbon to the binding. :D Yep, I am a glutton for punishment.

  4. hmmmm, seems to me that even $10.00 is better than $.00. Maybe that is because I work at a bank and see people being stupid about money all of the time. Additionally, who knows, maybe the person making the choice opposite of me is "fair" minded and not greedy.

  5. so, basically we are exposed on all sides and playing beside traffic. Hmmm ...will we at least be roped off? Is there any chance we can have a few vehicles parked at the curb to keep any drunk drivers from running into the camp?

  6. Okay ...my turn to make a bad impression but I can't help but poke fun...

You are french, we are use to you being rude. :P

Now that I have alienated you ...DuiDuit! Welcome t'the pub ...hope you enjoy the company ...including mine ...assuming you are not too offended by my comments. ;)

  7. That would be a Virginian M'dear Silkie, as we seem to have been Virginians first, Englishmen second... started planting the seeds for the Revolution many, many years earlier...

Welcome to the pub Mr. McMac

Forgive me good captain. There you have it Mister McMac, a Virginian, still, loyal to the crown in England. Exactly how loyal I can not say but still, a good man and good crew.

Whispers "Know this, Liam, though I live in the new world my heart remains at home, in Ireland."

  8. G'day t'ya lad. Ave a seat, and order me a Cider. We Irish-Scotts need t'be stickin t'gether.

Now understand, as a merchant I find that the coin shines just as brightly on both sides. Although I oppose the crown what sits on the throne at this time (1720 or so) I will take coin from any privateer wot spends money in me ordinary. Political views aside I have friends on the side of the English crown, in fact I owe m'freedom to an Englishman

  9. Hey! What about my wedge? Two trees, a rope strung between the two trees, canvas hung over the rope, a tent stake at each corner, another bit of canvas on the ground quite cozy for an individual and it was PC and took very little work beforehand.
