Am I done? I dunno, I'm thinking of adding more conjecture to a second post. Just to dive a little deeper into the experience, being new to these sort of events.

What a cute puppy! If I didn't have two cats, I'd definitely be eyeing a puppy dog. Speaking of pups, have you seen this Jill? http://www.ustream.tv/channel/shiba-inu-puppy-cam Some friends of mine are doing streaming video of the pups they're raising for adoption. Their site's been all over the news (online and otherwise, I've heard). These little guys look like teddy bears, even when full grown.

That's something I wish I could see at an event (brew making). I mean, I've seen the Coors brewery tour how many times?! Question Michael on pomegranate mead - Seems the fruit is getting scarce here in Central FL (for the season). I think a few local health food stores carry the juice (100%, no artificial junk). Have you ever substituted the real thing for the store bought variety, er would you even recommend it? The other thing is if I decide to wait until pomegranate comes in to season, I wonder how many I'd need to buy to fill up a few gallons. I'm thinking a truckload.

Jessi - Glad to see you back at the Pub, but sorry to hear about the unfortunate happenings to your family. I hope things turn out alright. Btw... is the FX con on your radar (mid April)? I missed it last year (first went in '07 - the venue sucked). Thinking this year I may go for a day.

Decided on a good meal for lunch (when I need the energy), and cooked two teeny buffalo burgers. Ate them sans bun (but with A1), a small salad of fresh greens and a few strips of salmon sashimi on the side (the latter's a first for me -- was good).

Mission - Objects in Space's uninvited guest was named Jubal Early. I recall in interviews, and perhaps commentary Nathan mentions the man's name was used because he mentioned it to Joss. The real Early is an ancestor of Nathan's (American Civil War general). Speaking of that episode, I like that River took charge in her own way and messed with Early a bit. He spent alot of the episode whomping or terrorizing in effort to collect his bounty (River), and got his comeuppins in the end.

My car? Why for Mission? I think I have one on my website (see my profile). Nothing taken during PiP that I can recall.

Uh oh...I recall meeting them Sunday morning, as they were sleeping on the beach near BiB, and a few of us ran into them on the roof of the Fort that evening. Sorry to hear they may have caused trouble.

Bravo Mission! I like the cartoon references. I dunno...I think this would make a fine addition to this year's events at PiP.

While I don't agree with alot of what PETA says or does (imho, they often take to the extreme), I've seen quite a few shows on cable (and read books here 'n there) that have proven once domestics can be reintroduced into the wild and survive. Surprisingly, cats can do that quite well, going from domestic to feral and even back to domestic again. I know, as a pet owner (or person who's pets own me?) it's a tad weird to wrap my head around, but knowing where some of my critters have come from, I have the feeling they could survive without me (in the wild).
