Pyrates of the West Coast
Tudor MercWench Smith replied to Diego Santana de la Vega's topic in Fiction
"Well . . . He's a busy man . . ." She managed to wheeze out, "I . . ." She opened her mouth then clamped it shut again quickly. She looked away for a moment, "just stop talking before ye make more of an ass out of yerself, Smith." She repremanded herself under her breath. She turned back to face Armand and smile cheekily, then took a swig of the coffee. "You're right, it's cold." She said, then saw the Captain approching. "Morning sir . . ." He greeted her and gave her the list of errands he had prepared for her, then went to the ward room. She turned back to Armand. "He didn't even think about the coffee." She grinned again. "I best be off about my work . . ." -

"oh, It's alright - I mean - I speak french - or well, I understand it . . .er, um . . ." She trailed uselessly avoiding all eye contact with the man standing beside her. "I'm just waiting to get the captain his morning coffee and go over the days goings on with him." -

Her ears were pink again - and she knew it, but without comment Tudor let Armand help her with her armload. "Ta very much." She said, then leaned against the railing, mimcking his poster from before her arrival, in an attempt to lighten the mood. "What do you need to talk to him about?" She asked, balancing the coffee on the rail infront of her. -

"Waiting for the captain too, I see . . ." A voice said from behind Armand. He turned around to see Tudor carrying a flagon of coffee in one hand and an armfull of papers in the other. "I've been trying to get a hold of him since after dawn . . ." She sounded like she was going to continue, until several of the papers started slipping out of her arms . . . -

Tudor startled when she heard the Doctor's steward behind her. "Oh, hello . . . she said, after he bowed and asked how she was. "I am well indeed . . " She paused awkwardly, unsure of how to continue the conversation . . . "And yourself?" She asked hesitantly. -

Tudor wandered the deck in the early morning, a distant look in her eye. Soon they would be ashore . . . and she was unsure of what to do once they reached port in a few days -

The pot that she had been carrying the coffee in was almost empty - not but one cup left, and Tudor could think of no better recipient of it then the Quatermaster. "Evening sir," She said as she poured the coffee into a mug and handed it to him. "How goes the hauling?" -

Tudor headed once more down to the galley. "Any more coffee, Christine?" She asked the cook with a weary smile. "The crew on shift is starting to tire again . . . one more round." She said, then grinned as she took a loaded tray topside. -
hmmm . . . don't know of anything that would look period. A lot of times you see the Amish carting the kids in the red radio flyer wagons - and I know some places you can get those . . . but like I said, not period. . . I'll ask around, see if I can find anything for ye . . .

"Two down, four to find . . ." Tudor mummbled to herself after speaking with the Quatermaster as she set off to find the next person on her list. She smiled when she saw Mr. Youngblood and approached him . . . -
even though I haven't played, I was curious. Chaotic Good A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he’s kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society. Chaotic good is the best alignment you can be because it combines a good heart with a free spirit.

Tudor moved on to the quaterdeck to find Mr. Lasseter already awake. "Morning, sir!" She said as she approached him. "The Captain is taking his officers over to the French ship for a meal, so he asks that you make yourself ready and meet the other on the gundeck" -

It was hard to wake up after the late night turned early morning festivities. Tudor streatched as she stumbled onto the deck, her feet aching from so much dancing. After a quick trip to the galley, she headed for the captain's cabin with tankard full of coffee for him. She found him at his desk. "You anticipated my need, Miss Smith." He said, smiling as she handed him the coffee. "Please go and wake Mr. Lasseter, Mr. Badger, Miss Fitzgerald, Mr. St. Anthony, Mr. Youngblood and Mr. Warren. Have them gather on the gundeck, prepared to go dine on the Chasser de Mer." She gave the captain a half smile, and a quick curtsy, she turned worlessly. "Then get some coffee for yourself." She headed first towards the good Docotor's rooms, and knocked politely on the door. -

With quick efficency, Tudor scuttled quickly around the Watch Dog, finding the people she was sent to seek. One by one she found them at their diffrent posts and sent them in the direction of the ward room, following them after finding all five.
