After spending all day Saturday at MNRF, Janelle and I went to dinner at Outback Steak House. It was an hour's wait, so we sat out on their front porch / bistro area, enjoyed (more) drinks and smoked a pipe or two. Before we knew it, we had a whole gaggle of kids and adults waiting outside with us because they wanted to hang out with the pyrates.

Well, it's done. October 1st has arrived, and I've replaced the Stars & Stripes with the pyratical ensign displayed proudly off our front porch. :)

Saturday was so SPECTACULAR!! Sunny, cool, and so many people to play with! Janelle had a blast talking with people (she's such a social butterly!), and we revelled in the inestimable talents of Jib and the Pyrates of Portobello, My Lady's Cutlass, Puke and Snot, Scratch the Beggar, Twig the Fairie, the Court Revelers, the Crew of the Bloodwake (so cool!), etc, etc, etc. I'm already lapsing into Faire Withdrawal. I know, I know... we're going to the Alabama Renaissance Faire about a month, but it will be so completely different. I doubt they're ready for me, so my reintroduction to Alabama should be an, um, interesting one. Personally, I'm hoping for "explosive". :)

Rats, I've not enough clear information to divine your illness, but I'll raise a jar to your health! Prayers to ye, mate. Here's to seeing ye hale and hearty very soon. :)
