uh-oh !! j, how flexible is she ?? don't wanna step on any toes !!

oh, forgot to add... we also have a 5 gal. drink container ( big blue plastic thing )... we usually mix in koolaid, lemonade or ice tea... we are also bringing a large turkey we have been saving for special occassions... okay, it's been sitting in the bottom of the big freezer and we need to get rid of it, but the special occassion thing sounds better !! we plan on cooking it here at home and then just warming it up over the fire.. since we have two turkeys, does everyone just wanna have turkey for dinner ?? lemme know, and we'll pre-cook them both... friday night has been designated as "chicago hot dog night" , some people from other encampments will be joining us... anyone who wants in, just bring a pack of hotdogs, bread or buns, and maybe condiments... we'll be bringing saurkraut (sp ? ) peppers, spicy garlic pickles and condiments as well...

friday during the day... the couple camping with us may come later or at the same time... at least for now... work may call at the last minute....

from the two tents and shelter i picked up from bo, i believe william is staying in one, another couple from ohio may be attending and using the other ( michael, you may have to verify this--- haven't heard back from trish yet ), and then there is the smaller shelter which i believe is still open... right now, we have one table, a borrowed table and benches in a box, we have a few crates for stiing, coolers with canvas for other seats.. i am trying to get a few keyhole chairs together, a table or two and a few more chests... don't know if i'll be able to get them togther in enough time though... i'll have to see... we also have plenty of cooking gear, but not enough utensils... cast iron pans, a dutch oven, a brazier, some plates, mugs, lots o' bowls, a few platters, not much period eating utensils... so, we have some to share, and lacking in a few other areas....

picked up the tents from bo today... there is also a small shelter... and..... A COFFEE POT !!! my day has not gone to waste !! now all i need is a ceramic mug to try to glue back together after i drop it... bo is doing well, his wife's job situation is looking merrier, and he will be able to finish the last year of school... near disaster avoided... such generosity on bo's part cannot go unpunished... a proper flogging may be needed...

spoke to bo today... planning on picking up the tents on wednesday... or the weekend if a miracle happens and work calls !! once i have them, i can get a better footprint measurement to you... and, he has a coffe pot !!

bo, i'll probably be off for the next two weeks... i'll call today....

carl... chairs !! while i plan to have some chests done by then, for storage and seating, chairs are nice !! with some of the stuff i have to do, chairs will be coming later...

william, are accomodations until friday taken care of ?? travel and sleeping arrangements ??

i always try to bring extra to share, both food and drink... when offered a sample of food or drink, i try not to make a meal of it and deplete them of their wares... i've loaned my pistol to trusted others... eye summed up the safety aspect fairly well... gotta keep on top of that, because, one incident may spell the end of our fun...

things right now are somewhat up in the air... by the end of the week, we'll know more...

OOPS !! make that : connie MAY have to skip this one... alex will not be able to come, but i do plan to steal the otter and bring it along so's we can do horrible things to it and take pics for our comic relief !! :)

me, andrew, and miles will be there around midnight or so... usually i'll take the friday off and have a nice drive over, but that was when work was still good... so... i'll have to work that day and drive over after i get off... connie have to skip this one due to some unforeseen problems...

i've used scrapers before and they are wonderful !! i've used them mostly to remove old finishes, but only a few times to finish a piece... now that you have brought up the idea again, i should probably put them to use more often...

nice grommets !! i can comfortably say that to another man, i'm not insecure... i've been screwing around with grommets and haven't been 100 % pleased with them... and i'm startin' to think that i need to use some larger diameter thread.... after seeing yours, i'm pretty sure that's it... what type did you use ??

with work being the way it is now, i really doubt there's any chance of me or the crew attending... i've been down to about half of my income for the last 3 or 4 months with no relief in sight for the rest of the year... oh well... there's always closer venues for us :) what she said... take pics !!

good to see ya carl !! cpt. j has been in contact with darell d??????? ... hasn't asked for foot prints yet, but may be a good idea... our setup will be very large with two wall tents and a fly in between... if anything, we can "expand" a little if we have to :)

bo, that sucks !! we've been cutting back, too... work is real slow...hopefully, things will pick up for ya ...
