  1. Awesome.. good times
  2. Those are some great pix mate. Thank you for sharing.
  3. I love drinking too.. I mean the pub.. I mean pirates.. uuuh... I love drinking too.
  4. Delicious. Next week on the Grey Dog food network - Parrots! friend or fowl.
  5. Yaar mate, I'm getting the same feeling. At this point it's better to forget all about it and if I get an issue.... it will be kind of like a Christmas Miracle. Then again I'm still waiting on a Pirates Magazine as well. No idea when they send theirs out though. Not to make fun or call anyone incompetent, but I got a buddy that runs 1000, 10+ page zines every quarter for free subscription and never misses a beat. I'm a little bummed out that nothing has come to me yet from either side. Can anyone tell me when both magazines release their zines?
  6. Yaaar. I'm also a Bilge Munky Knife Fighter. www.bilgemunky.com AND www.bilgemunkyradio.com Now I may be ignorant of other podcasts but this guy plays the best assortment of pyratyness from all genres. Sounds odd I know, everything from hiphop to metal to folk. Really good stuff and he airs every monday between 6-9pm pacific. He's on some kind of crazy mountain time or something like that. Yaaaaaaar like real pirates go by anything other then eastern or pacific (gulf of mexico doesnt count). HA!
  7. Ahoy Mates, There is a free online social simulation game called Second Life for download on the interwebz. From what I've heard it has a rather big Pirate gathering as well as some great looking Pirate scenery and towns. My information is limited as I'm still in the creation phase of my character. Bilge Munky is the DJ for an in-game party that will be happening on Wed. November 19th at 1pm Pacific. He's asked all us Knife Fighters to attend and I'm spreading the word to anyone that does not frequent his website. This (apparently) will only be the first of many events so don't feel bad if you can't make it this upcoming Wed. It's completely free and you get to make yerself and avatar. If you decide to check it out, Bilge's name is Bilgemunky Mizin (you select your last name instead of making one up.. so we can't make fun of him.. rats). There is a rather friendly pirate in game named Locke Morgridge who has offered to lend a helping hand (or hook) to help us start out. Yaaaaar be looking forward to seeing you mates. Second Life (download from website) Corsair's Coast @ Buccaneer Reef (the in-game location) Feel free to IM me for information.. I will know more by this weekend but will be happy to help anyone out. Yaaaar!
  8. Flogging Molly is in the past. It's all about The Dreadnaughts now. More pirate, less guilt. =)
  9. I completely agree with Rev Sam. There's something about dragging someone under a ship that makes me smile. I need help, Ha!
  10. BBQ-ing burgers with a strong ale. Mmmmm that and Bob's Big Boy seasoning salt. You know what I'm talking about =)
  11. Ground adjustable props? Dang I think I would ask them to keep them neutral for dog fights. Still pretty cool for a wooden frame plane. Just strap a gun on a Pitts and I'm happy =). Call it Mini Red Baron. Or as my friend calls them.. Pittlatus lol edit: I'm just glad they worked the bugs out of this awesome beast. V-22 Osprey
  12. I'd be lying if I said no. Now I just feel childish hehe.
  13. YaaaaR mate, sounds like an underwater earthquake. Unless I'm confused, a rogue wave would have caused the water to recede first as the wave built up in power. Off shore earthquakes are pretty common and cause the surrounding body of water to act in this way. Just an educated guess on my part though. Although, the dead water research is rather interesting as well.
  14. Yaaar, I'm voting after work but I keep hearing about 2 hour long lines here in Los Angeles. Here's to a painless experience.
  15. Now here's some bling that could save your life. Yaaaar! From Pistol Ring
  16. Am I the only one that came in here expecting smut? I gotta lay off the after dark show.
  17. If you like random short animations on flash AND you like the humorous/dirty side of pirates, then check out Seabeaver.net The funny part about the website is all the hidden goodies. You'll have to click around randomly to find the really good stuff. Yaaaar! EDIT: It's made by Red Beard of Mizzen. A great band that's just having fun. You can check out Mizzen's myspace as well, but I can't link it as work has Myspace on permo-ban =(
  18. Yaaar, BUMP for a good cause
  19. Yaaar Jim, Could just be my computer, but that link was not working for me. I got the dreaded 504 gateway time out.
  20. Thanx Rumba. Looks like a missed a good'n.... again.
  21. Sounds like it was a lot of fun. The pirates charles ARE a great band and I love to see them every chance I get. Wish I could have been there but work turned out to be a nightmare. Lesson of the weekend. Never be on set for a Cadillac commercial that should have used a budget of 100k instead of the 10k we had. That was a rough one, but non the less an interesting experience. edit: well I did mention in this thread that I would post a photo, so here it is. After 9 hours of building, I was bushed so I look pretty stupid eyed. =)
  22. I was so..... startled! =) glad to know I'm not the only one that watches south park 'round here.
