I be lookin' fer a certain shirt of a pyratical bent. Red/Wine/Burgundy, anythin' roughly blood-like. 100% Cotton or other natural fabric. Tied or Buttoned cuffs (no elastic). Loose'n Billowy's good, but no sissy frills. Anyone know where t' find such a garment? (I bought one from chivalry sports (their "Lord's Shirt"), but it turned out to be a polyester blend... they had just changed the specs, but not the web site. Arrrrrrr.... very nice people though, full refund, shipping, etc.) Thankee. ---Mick MacAnselan

There were some folks sailing radio control yachts in a local park the other day, which got me to thinking..."I wonder if anyone makes R/C tall ships?" Well, yes; someone does. Check out their model of the HMS Suprise! Love to get one, but BALLS! Is that a lot of money or what? $13,500 for a finished, ready to sail model. (bet the Royaliste spends that much every month just keeping it afloat...) It's nearly six feet long, weighs over 100 pounds and needs its own trailer. But no working cannon. What a shame. I'd love to see a few of these engaged in battle.

Well mates, it's time to unload some of me old weapons for new tools of the trade, diaper bags, bottles, pacifiers and sippy cups! So here's what I' selling (I'm not getting up my pyracy trade, but for now, I will be taking a small sabatical from the pirate life while I practice the art of being a new dad. ) I have two starfire blades, both in great shape, one with a scabbard (no frog though) They need to be filed a little (starfire short swords do chip a little, but they hold up wonderfully for stage combat) I will also admit that they have not been cleaned as much as I should (bad pirate!!) but a littel elbow grease will get rid of the build up. There are no rust …

Well it took me MONTHS and MONTHS to finsh this coat. Please note, I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL COSTUMER!! Also, don't expect "Period coat". This was made more for the costume contests that I tend to enter in here and there. As soon as possible, I'll put the whole outfit on, and have some pictures ready to show, just as soon as I can pin down me companion to take them. Pirate costumes fascinate me. There are many varieties. Part of me wishes to dress as a Wench, in feminine attire, but "there be times a wench needs ta grab hold of a musket" and hike up her skirts...and be a man" Ya know what I'm gittin' at ! We like the sight of a Pirate so much, we can't resist the urge ta look like one ! Arrr I am partial to tri cornered hats, with a bit of embellishment..a maribou edge (or gold trim) to catch a hint of a breeze. We should wear a hat to enhance our confidence. If we feel "stupid" in it :..wrong hat....A Pirates hat is a constant companion. I like tights..with knickers that tie below the knee...shoes with buckles...and a moderate…
