The movie star has forked out £2m for an island hideaway for his family in the Bahamas. The mile-long island, Little Halls Pond Cay, has six secluded white sand beaches and a central lagoon surrounded by exotic palm trees, The Sun reveals. The tropical island also has a private harbour and staff quarters. Depp, 41, is expected to share the hideaway with his girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and children Lily-Rose Melody, five, and Jack, two. The actor, who has signed up to a sequel of the blockbuster film, has his main home in France. He starred as Captain Jack Sparrow in the movie, which also featured British star Keira Kightley. Dear Mr. Depp, First, we'd like to congratulate you on a lifetime of exceptional cinematic achievements. Second, we'd like to humbly request you please COOL YOUR JETS ALREADY!!! Look, you did the whole 21 Jump Street thing with the cool 80's hair, and women swooned. You did the Edward Scissorhands thing, and our girlfriends and wives asked us, "why can't you cut MY hair like that?" Then you came along with Captain Jack Sparrow, and we had to learn to wear eyeliner and sway like drunken swabs in a vain effort to keep up. And now, now you've gone a bought a FREAKIN' TROPICAL ISLAND!?!? With six white sand beaches, palm trees, and a lagoon??? For the love of Pete, what the hell are the rest of us supposed to do to impress chicks? It's like you're flying to the moon and back, and we're supposed to somehow keep up with pogo sticks. Oh, the humanity! If you have any compassion at all, any concern for your fellow man, then you'll stop raising this bar ever higher. Just STOP already. And while you're at it, if you could find a way to look a little less attractive (develop a hunchback or something) that would also be greatly appreciated. I found the pictures via Hello Magazine out of Great Britian. Little Hall's Pond Cay Island Exumas, 45 acres, US $3,500,000 6 private white sand beaches ring the island, which also enjoys deepwater access. An interior lagoon lies in the centre of the island, and approval has been sought and obtained to open the lagoon up to the sea, thereby creating a protected harbour area. A thatched-roof cottage with bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom is present on the island, as well as a Tiki beach hut, generators for electricity and a water runoff system for fresh water needs.
