Merry Christmas to all my fellow sea dogs out there. May the frosty winter sea be kind to all of ye. May the season be filled with joy and may the new year bring better fortune for all of us. Does anyone have any references on how the holiday was spent while on board ship. I know that various regular navies recognized the day and would make special allowances for it. But, I have extremely little info. on anything about that or about merchant ships or pirates as well. To interface or not to interface.....that is the question. I want the coat to hold it's shape but be "worn" or "used" not brand new stiff, does it matter. So Saturday, Lucky gets to move officially into her new apartment! The process of finding and acquiring said place (amongst other real life manure) is part of the reason why Lucky's been away from the Pub a bit more than she'd like...but come the end of the week, things are gonna finally get back to NORMAL! Er...well..sort of! No, it doesn't float on water, as much as that would please this pirate miss. However, it's a lovely place...high ceilings, new bathroom fixtures, fresh paint and appliances that are in healthy shape and NOT PINK! (have I mentioned that my old place has a pink stove?)
