Not meanin' to gather me any replies hereabouts, but iffin' ye have a few odd moments, ye might be wantin' to think about... Do ye REALLY think ye would have been able to survive as a pyrate in the Golden Age? Without the auto-mobiles, the air-conditionin', the cable-Tee-Vee and such... With the infestations...the rats...the mutinies...the loneliness... With the REAL fights, not the ones that be foisted up'n us by them Holly-wude peoples... Ye'd be livin' large, an' no mistake, but ye'd also be livin' hard. Could ye cut the mustard?

Pirate Killings Hit 10-Year Global High Sun Jul 25, 8:34 PM ET By SEAN YOONG, Associated Press Writer KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Pirates killed 30 seafarers worldwide in the first six months of the year — the highest toll in more than a decade — and governments need to boost patrols in dangerous regions to curb the violence, a maritime group said Sunday. The 30 killings compared to 16 during the same period last year despite an overall decline in pirate attacks, the British-based International Maritime Bureau said in a report released by its Piracy Watch Center in Kuala Lumpur. "Reports of violence against seamen have risen," Capt. Potenggal Mukundan, IMB Directo…

As we left off (over in the Tiburon Cafe)...an old mate of mine in the dance party/rave field of work...sent me a qoute for really nice, full color cards here's what he said in a recent email: Ah, this place rocks. It's called PS Print and its in Oakland. You do everything over their website and it's really, really cheap. When it comes to flyers a 3"x4" double sided full color at 5,000 copies comes out to $128.00. You can only order in 5,000 amounts. But at $128 thats not bad. Check out www.PSPrint.com

OK - I am trying to come up with pyrantical drinking game ideas for a "Drunks of the Carribean" party I am hosting. Nothing with sand, or is too hard to do, and I want to find games that various party goers can play, in a competition-like fashion w/ prizes at the end. Not everyone will be in pyrate/bodice wear, so that can't be the crux of the game, either. I am ususally pretty creative when it comes to such things, but I really am stumped. I know the thoughts of water balloons, a kiddie pool, and a whole bunch of golf balls keep coming into mind for some reason tho... who knows, maybe I am on to somethin?

Well, one of my old roomates asked me a question one night while drinking about what would a pirate do if his coat got a hole in it. I thought well hey, if I was on a ship, I would patch it up with anything I could. Anything like fabric, old sail cloth, and so on. So I started collecting all the old fabric scrapes building up in my waistbasket in the sewing room, and began stichjing htem together, (while drunk, bad idea) By the time I was finished, I had a really huge piece of fabric for a pattern. I started to go at it, and gave up. LAtely, I got bored (and druunk again) and found the big ol fabric sheet and started again. By the time it's doen, I should have the…
