Now, this is by no means high literature. More along the lines of... a B-movie. Y'know, where most of the budget is burned up on creature makeup. The late, late show... Always willing to hear constructive criticism...

had an assignment to write The sea swells and my feet are firm upon the deck With wind and spray blowing in my face The well worn line running out through my roughened hands The sheets bellying out, full of the awesome power of the heavens This day begins as have so many others With the body straining to meet the sea The bosun whistles to have hands aloft Unfurl the topsail and set the trigallions, we need speed to reach the lanes My mates are sensing the days peril ahead We all silently pray that our prey comes gently Six bells and there be no hail from aloft Our hands are busy with the preparations for action When at eight bells less a quarter we hear a …

Thanks and it's nice to meet you all! Drink up, me hearties! By the way, was Johnny Depp not SPECTACULAR in POTC?

We have all seen the multitude of Ren Fairs right? I was thinking of a pirate fair. What would you all like to see at one? What do you think would work best. Do you think that a Carrabiean theam would be better or a general theam. Of course there would have to be water involved but how much and to what end? How long should it be open. Sorry about the spelling.

PIRATES OF POINT LOMA ********************* Comes to Old Town (San Diego) in October. World premiere Oct. 12, 2007 with previews beginning Oct. 5th. Presented at the Compadre Theatre at the Adobe Chapel, 3950 Conde Street in Old Town San Diego. San Diego may have been a sleepy backwater in 1850, while Northern California was running wild with gold-rush fever, but that didn’t stop the birthplace of California from producing its own band of genuine pirates, according to a couple of early San Diego writers. These pirates had a base on the west side of the Coronado Islands and they preyed on gold-laden sailing ships headed south from San Francisco. Or so goes the s…

Ahoy, I have a request to make, but unsure which section to ask in. I'm currently making a pirate game in flash for one of my modules and i was wandering if there was anybody you wouldn't mind giving me a hand by helping out with an original pirate song or two. Of course I'll give more details in whichever part of the forum I'm directed to. Cheers EDIT: Well looks like this has been moved into Pirate Pop, so i'll give some more detail in a bit. Cheers for whoever did this. EDITY:A short note about me, I'm at Uni studying Game Production Management. Its alright, there has been a change in who runs the course and I'm hoping that means its going to pick up next year. …

I forgot. What was 20, 000 Leagues Under the Sea about? The last time I swa it, I was 11, and that was in the gym of my school. On a 16mm film projector, no less! I'm talking about the original, not the re-make.

I knew we would see a run of pirate related movies in the wake of POTC2. Was I surprised to find this little gem. Pirates is a movie made by some person who goes by the name "Joone" and is listed as a photographer and film maker. Most of the featured women of the movie have the look of the adult industry about them. I found the movie kinda funny and the effects weren't bad. If you have a bunch of adult friends in port and want something fun to go with the rum and aren't looking for "art"this movie might do the trick.

I was asked the other day about Barbossa's first name. For the life of me I never remembered hearing one so.... I called the writers office and, according to Terry: "The name Barbossa was a nickname that the Pirate gave to himself, having forgotten his own real name, very long ago. " So, whoever wrote and asked me that.... there it is. OFFICIALLY he has no first name.
