Thank ye, most kind of ye Lady B.

Yo'r most welcome, Captain. ::: elegant bow::: :)

Am I presuming you will be attending Hampton's Fest in June?

Rather harsh that Port Washington and Hampton is on the same weekend. ;)

We shall certainly see about that.... the webpage for Washington still does not have a lot of info on it yet to compare the events properly... but we will certainly be taking both into consideration...

So still no takers in the guessing game?

I know I know! *waves hand wildly*

It doesn't count if I saw Mistress Lilly's little oops a few posts ago though does it. ;)

It would be nice for the Archangel to be at Port Washington. It needs a much bigger pirate presence. Unfortunatly it's probibly not up to your standards from what I have seen. Still my crew of one will be there with bells on (figuratively).

The Archangel crew has very high standards, but this is the sort of thing that would only enhance Port Washington...

...Oops.. I think we're off topic here... Uh....

Lilly smiling..."Chole! You wicked...wicked Girl! Now, that you know...you must keep mum until someone else has at least one good chance at it.

As for Port Washington's Pyrate event in June. I am sure the crewe of the Archangel would welcome a chance to come 'play' at any Pryate event that comes along...that's for sure.

Just had a friend of mine call me tonight asking when the crew of the Archangle is coming down to the Pyrate event in St. Augustine, FL.

Good God...that would be great if we could all go to that event too!

When is the St. Augustine event? I am thinking Port Washington will be a go next year...

There is a Pyrate fest in St. Augustine, FL and one in St. Andrews. I will have to clairify with her.

As for the link I posted, there are all sorts of Pyrate events listed on this site.

Ah I think this may be the one Bloody Davy was talking about over at the PB... I'm afraid it is a bit too early for us...

May I Present to You....Master Edward Foxe

MasterEdFoxe.jpg

Mr. Edward Foxe, curator of the Golden Hind Museum Ship in Brixham, Devon, UK", will be attending the Reenactor Fest in February 2007.

He will be a lecture host during our event. Pyracy, Elizabethan and Tudor age of sail, the Golden Age of Sail, and how to run a pyrate event without a ship are just a few topics he will be discussing.

His best known work thus far has been an advisor on "Worst Jobs in History" with Tony Robinson for the Discovery Channel! (And have you seen this show?! Eweweeuuu!)

He carries quite a lot of clout in the various reenactment circles! He has several publish articles, been used as historical advisor on several television projects & movies, and is now looking to publish a book on Pyrates in the near future.

I hope all of you will be attending RF2 will stop by, say hello and sit in on his lecture. We are very happy and very blessed to have him as our guest!

I advertised RF2 to my CW reenactor group. Let's see how amny take the bait.

I am really looking forward to this... But need to attend to my kit. My uncut wool and sewing machine are laid out, gathering dust, mocking me. Let's see -- I just wore out the kittens with the laser, and my Lovely Bride shall not awaken for at least another hour (I mix a mean Cosmo!). Where did I put my good scissors?

And you are most welcome. Think of me every time you raise it!

Two new tankards await their debut as photographic props. I just took shots of them and will post them soon...
