I'm known as Robert "the Sea Wolf" Studley. I was born in 1672, and brought to America by my parents when I was small. We came from a tiny village in Scotland with hopes of a new life. My Mum and Pop got ill on the voyage over and died shortly after arriving in Carolina. I was raised by a kind Shipbuilder and his family. My nickname came from my fiesty nature. I was always getting into trouble and would rather spend my days out on the ocean than around the house. I worked on the docks for several years enjoying the tales from the Ol' Salts. One evening I was knocked over the head in a local tavern and awoke on a British merchant ship. Relunctantly I worked on the ship which was headed back to London. On our return trip our ship was attacked by pirates. I quickly joined them to escape the harsh treatment, and began my life of piracy. This is a start for my backgound, which I am always adding to. The tough thing I find is staying in character. I am definitly not an actor! I try to make my outfit as close to period as my wallet will let me, and pick up pointers from other pirates. I'm interested in ya'll's tales...what's your story?

I agree Skot! Sevendust does a great show! Split and broke my nose in their mosh pit and it didn't even faze me. P.S. Captain-- I can skin and clean rabbits very well.

I like fluffing! :)

Did I hear that the Black Kat lost some of her treasure? It just so happens that I found some Aztec gold attached to a leather string the last night of PiP. It was next to our tent where Kat was walking all over Olaf. Ross, if you send me your address, I'll get it to you as soon as possible. The crew of the Blackheart looks out for one another ( with the exception of Nigel of course). P.S. CW reenactment in River's Bridge, SC in January

If you look quickly you can see me" Master Rower". I must have been too fast for the camera.

Olaf and I have safely made it to port. I want to thank everyone for an awesome trip this year. I'll talk to ya'll soon.

Olaf and I are gearing up for PiP. We're bringing our bunny patters and the normal tools- of- the- trade. What other items should we bring? i.e. Decor ( barrels, crates, treasure chests, flags, signs, etc...) We do after all work at a special event studio, and the sky is the limit. :)

The Pirate's House is right across the river from me. Been there several times and the food is pretty good. The restaraunt changed ownership a few years back and got rid of their gift shop.(Big Mistake!) I wish they would renovate the pirate displays, because they really need it. To me it looks a little too "Whistle Stop Cafe". By all means swing by and check it out. Cascabel is right about the Queen Anne's Revenge in Charleston ( hour & half away), it is a Pirate lover's dream.

I'm sad to announce Olaf's Grandfather has passed away. Matt told me that he died in his sleep peacefully. He was a much loved man in his family as well as the community. We shall all miss him.

I finally made back on deck. Three broken bones ( fibula twice, tibula once) and a dislocated ankle Three surgeries, 2 plates, 2 rods, 16 screws, and one more surgery to go. This really sucks. I hope everyone in Florida is safe and dry. That really really sucks! No more hurricanes please. Looking forward to PiP, I hope I'm walking by then.

Happy Birhday Bra'! Wish you could make it for Hurricane Frances. Predictions for Sat., 10-14 footers.

Sorry Steele, but here comes another one. T.S. Gaston will be in your backyard this afternoon. We got lot's of rain and it is still pretty windy here. Surf was pounding Charleston last night, but unfortunately I was working and my board was two hours away. Keep an eye on Frances, we are!

Nice job Cap'n, but don't be leaving it lying about, or it'll end up in me closet!

Siren gently pushes Studley into the shallows, but his face has now changed to a shade of blue.
-
Unfortunately during the froliking, Studley takes a lung full of water, his eyes roll to the back of his head, and his motionless body floats slowly to the sandy bottom.
-
Lulled out of his mischievous revenge by Siren's lovely voice, Studley floats on his back admiring the stars in the heavens. The moment does not last long as he turns and sends a spray of water into the beautiful Siren's amazed face. "Gotcha"
-
I kinda' like Annie Beth Foxx meself.
-
Why you little... You got me wet to! *Studley stumbles around trying to remove his boots* That's it *laughing* I'm going to teach this mermaid a lesson *splashes into the lagoon*

Some could only wish to have a wonderful mother as yourself. Good head on your shoulders and a strong sense of family values. You must be related to my Mother! Your children are going to grow up to be fine sensible adults, unlike most that I know. Keep up the good work!

I was hoping that our fair maidens of the sea could help quench my curiosity. The once great city of Atlantis has slipped beneath the waves, where mortals cannot gaze upon it's majestic architecture. Is she still beautiful lying quitely on the ocean floor, or does it sadden one's heart to see her empty streets. On many nights at sea I have looked to the horizon and invisioned a brightly lit city, with torches blazing and laughter floating on the warm breezes. But many years ago, Great Neptune punished the citizens of Atlantis, and took her away. Now only the creatures of the sea can inhabit this once magical city. Many mariners have told wondorous stories about fair Atlantis, but only a voice from the sea can truely tell of her fate. So what say you sirens of the deep, let us look at Atlantis through your eyes.
