If'n POTC doesn't win much for The Golden Globes, lets hope it cleans up at the Oscars. In my opinion, it should clean up at BOTH!!!! Name one film that ran as long as it this summer!! No film even touched it!! Set sail for the winds of victory Johnny my boy!!

I've actually been to both and rode both POTC rides. I like the way the one in Cali builds ya up to the invasion. Ya starts off in that calm bayou with the guy strummin on the banjo. Then the drama builds as ya progress through the tunnels. The Florida one is cool, don't get me wrong. But it comes at ya so fast. It just feels different than the California one. I also like the Pyrate shop (Pieces of Eight) in California better than the one in Florida.

Yah that was ol Manuel Noriega, the Pyrate of Panama! He practically begged the US to take him in, on Christmas Eve nonetheless. I think he should have to do a constant back-to-back marathon of The South Park Movie, then N*SYNC, alternating over and over again. Then if he doesn't tell us anything, we behead him like they did Blackbeard.

Heres to our troops in capturing Saddam. Was it me or did the guy look more like the perfect Pirate when they caught him? Maybe he should turn in his barret for a good tri-corner!

You might give a looky to The Pirates Own Book by the Marine Research Society. The narratives in it are very interesting and not too dry to read. They at least kept my interest. It touches on some Pirates that I had never heard of as well as the more famous ones. Neat woodcut illustrations too.

Grape Grop n 7up sounds totally cool!! Gotta try it sometime. As for the doubloon tshirts? THEY ARE THE BOMB!! I GOTTA GET ME ONE A THOSE!! IF UR NEW TO THIS THREAD, TAKE SOME TIME TO CHECK THOSE OUT!!

All those things make a whole lotta sense me hearties. The man was certainly more "mind stricken" than most of the Pirates out there. The whole thing of burning flames in his beard during attack, to totally horify his opponent, was reason enough to believe he was quite the messed up plunderer. Inset disease mixed with all he drank into himself was certainly enough to do it, and then some. With the ways movies are these days, I am sure Hollywood could scrounge up enough to make a pretty good flic about him, if a character/story promoter really sold it to them well.

First, a new soda flavor I saw today (might not be new for you) GRAPE GROG! Pirate themed bottle and everything. Let me know if ya've tried it matey. Also, CBS.com at their Survivor Pearl Islands shop has a COOL pirate longsleeved T. Its got a skull n crossbones with a little blurb of writing on it recognizing Survivor, but the skull dominates. Even if ya hate the show, the shirt is a treasure!!

Yah I did catch it tonight. DIDN'T YA HATE THAT??? THAT JOHN IS AN IDIOT!!! They showed next weeks previews and something isn't gonna go his way. I hope they turn on him!!
