  4. “In the 1600's, a language of flowers developed in Constantinople and in the poetry of Persia. Charles II introduced the Persian poetry to Europe, and Lady Mary Wortley Montagu brought the flower language from Turkey to England in 1716. It spread to France and became a handbook of 800 floral messages known as the Book Le Language des Fleurs. Lovers exchanged messages as they gave each other selected flowers or bouquets. A full red rose meant beauty. Red and white mean unity. Crocus said 'abuse not', while a white rosebud warns that one is too young for love. Yellow roses were for jealousy, yellow iris for passion, filbert for reconciliation and ivy for marriage.” @---}---- A red rose for all the ladies here!
  5. The Road goes ever on and on Out from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, Let others follow it who can! Let them a journey new begin, But I at last with weary feet Will turn towards the lighted inn, My evening-rest and sleep to meet.”-John Ronald Reuel 'J. R. R.' Tolkien

  9. “Simple pleasures are the last refuge of the complex.” -Oscar Wilde - I humbly bow you you m'lady, for I wish nothing more then to entertain you in your sleepless nights. I am but a simplisticly complicated man. -Perkeo-
  10. “Death, so called, is a thing which makes men weep, and yet a third of life is passed in sleep.” -Lord George Gordon Byron - “O sleep! O gentle sleep! Nature’s soft nurse, how have I frighted thee, That thou no more wilt weigh mine eyelids down And steep my senses in forgetfulness? Why, rather, sleep, liest thou in smoky cribs, Upon uneasy pallets stretching thee, And hush’d with buzzing night-flies to thy slumber, Than in the perfum’d chambers of the great, Under canopies of costly state, And lull’d with sound of sweetest melody?” -William Shakespeare - “Lying in bed would be an altogether perfect and supreme experience if only one had a colored pencil long enough to draw on the ceiling.” -Gilbert Keith Chesterton -

  16. I made it myself about 10 years ago. I use to belong to a house hold named DeTyre and the lord of the house was very good at making it. We use to have parties for making suits of lamellar. Over the years I reduced it to lower body armor only. I found the link on how to make it. I couldn't believe it was still online. How to make Lamellar
  17. Well, it's 5:17am and the beer has started to wear off and so I'm going to the land of slumber. If we shadows have offended, Think but this, and all is mended, That you have but slumber'd here While these visions did appear. And this weak and idle theme, No more yielding but a dream, Gentles, do not reprehend: if you pardon, we will mend: And, as I am an honest Puck, If we have unearned luck Now to 'scape the serpent's tongue, We will make amends ere long; Else the Puck a liar call; So, good night unto you all. Give me your hands, if we be friends, And Robin shall restore amends.
