Being a marshall at one time I'm gonna ignore what I read about going off site and fighting with real swords.....other than that I will be at Pennsic. You can find me, most of the time, at my pub down in the bogs (which I might add is the only working roadside pub at Pennsic). I'm on the back side of the lake, just look for me colours and we'll have some shots together. Alcohol is always flowing and always free!!!

If'n its a drinking game you want a mate and I were bored one night, we didn't have lots of alcohol but we did have a set of dice, so we came up with a game we call Deteriated Dice. Warning: only play if you want to get really drunk, really fast. Now the rules: Take the dice and each person takes turns rolling them. (remembering what you rolled). The winner doesn't drink but the losers drink the number they lost by (example: winner rolls double 6's and the loser rolls double 1's, the loser has 10 drinks). If you roll double 6's you get to make a rule (it has to apply to every one). That's pretty much it, sounds simple until you get drunk. btw, I got a friend drunk from 6 Killians and another friend tipsy from O'Doul's. My personal favorite rule is if you roll doubles and lose you have to drink twice the amount you lost by. (example: double 6's vs. double 1's goes from 10 drinks to 20 drinks). Have fun and be careful!!!!

So there I was at me local Best Buy store searchin' for plunder and I found some great steals....I mean deals.....I found 2 piratey box sets one was "The Adventures of Long John Silvers" (13 episodes) and the other was a 2 DVD set with 4 movies on 'em "Beneath the 12-mile Reef", "Captain Kidd", "Mutiny", and "Legend of Sea Wolf". The sets cost me $5.99 each.

Being some one who is in the SCA...(I know not every one likes the SCA)...I am a history buff. I find it hard to get some of the more period things I want for various reasons, but I like to do the research and try to at least pattern the things I have after period stuff. I believe in having fun first and being accurate last. Besides making the authentisity nazi's upset can be a lot of fun in itself.

I've been camping in all kinds of weather and not gotten sick and eaten things that have made others sick. I've not been sailing for any length but I love the water and feel comfortable in and around it. I'm decent with a sword, axe, and fist. I don't like hights but I'd do what needed to be done......I think I could have survived as a pyrate in the golden age.

aaarrrr......I'll have ta say more then most and less then some.....or probably in the millions by now....

Packing? You mean you actually bring a change of clothes? I have a room in me cabin that is always packed and ready for travel!!!

Borders did have Treasure Island but they wanted about $25 for it. It is in the kids/family movie section.

Let me try to sum up what a lot of us are trying to say......With a lot of alcohol, letting go of reality, a little time, and a whole lot of attitude your friend will be a pirate in no time..... In the mean time, I'd like to give you some advice that has been passed down from generation to generation in my family. It is a simple one word saying that has helped me get by in life and you have to say it loud and proud that word is: DRINK!!!!!!

Capt. Flint you be a very wise pirate indeed..... however being of viking blood...there's nothing like an axe in your hand to throw, grab anothers weapon, crack a skull, or cut some one open....*thinks of how many people he'd like to use an axe on.....hmmm...not today*

did they have any more copies of it or did you plunder the only one? I guess I could order another one if they can get it!!!

I haven't made an actual flag yet but I finally finished my design. My avatar is the black version and I want to make a red version as well. I'm thinking a good trigger cloth should do for the body and I'll try my hand at painting it on first then if I get a good drunk on maybe I'll try my hand at sewing it......later....

hhhmmmm........I guess I should be dead......the good thing about drinking that much is you don't remember drinking that much...
