It depends on what you mean by event. I went to 8 faires/fests as a pirate. If you count parties/ events then more.

i had a bad reaction to my allergy meds today. I wasnt sure I could even drive home from work. Had to leave early and then pick up the hours tomorrow. and then I slept 5 hours. I NEVER do that.. I hate being sick. kudos to all the others with allergy/ cold bugs.. a hot tea with lemon and honey fer ya.

welcome sir.. if you are buying then I am drinking! I"ll have a Pyrate rum with a lime chaser.... literally I want to chase a limey. (ok bad joke!) I came out of the pink closet, I had cancer this past June. You will find that being a pirate is about being free..

ditto, unfortunatley.. I had a runny nose and it turned into a runny nose, a cough, plugged ears, and a throat that feels like tabasco is running thru it. Mine is dust related tho.. and I work on the phone too.. should be interesting! I hope you feel better soon, Cheeky! I think mine is all allergy. I guess the harvest is pretty dusty this year, and with all the flooding, it made it a bit wetter. Hopefully it will freeze soon, and the allergies will go poof!

punished?? you would enjoy it WAY too much. I"d say go to my cabin, but I"d never get a lick of sleep. hey Jenny, maybe you could take Doc out for a spin.. (laughs) you can call me sneezy right now.. allergies got me coughing and blowing my nose. icky stuff.

not feeling great either.. I spent the day in the old garage with dust and bird droppings. I feel bad enough I called my daughter and told her if needed, I might have to call her for a run to the hospital..chest pains and sinus and sore throat.. dang allergies. no where near as bad as you sound, Siren!! I hope you feel better soon! LadyB, as always you are in my prayers. It was nice talking to you the other day too.. all you can do is keep at it and chin up! huggles

and in case you were wondering, I did get a bill for $40,000 only from the radiation I had. I also got about 8 statements for my surgery, xrays, MRI's, surgery, and biopsies. I still owe $500 after insurance just for those. Thank all the gods for COBRA insurance. I want to thank renfairepirate for making the pins I am selling for BC here in IA. He sells his at the KC faire and in MO BC. I'm hoping that we can not only help find a cure but also make people aware how common it is, and how brutal. thanks from the bottom of my bodice.

Thanks to all who are helping support our ta-tas.. in both ways. 1 in 7 women will get breast cancer at some time and that is way too many. Renfairepirate has done a GREAT job at selling the pins and letting people know about Breast Cancer. I'm excited about gains that are being made against BC, and how many women are finding it earlier, so they have a better chance at survival. pass it on.. save a life, give your female loved one a mammogram. (pat yourself on the front AND the back.) I'm done for the traveling for now, but I'm still moving stuff into boxes. I'm hoping to get on with making the tees and maybe some other pin ideas.

good gods, its darkRose! I thought you was about dead out there on the coast. You are missed, my friend, and I hope someday you can make your way back. There's a bottle of rum in it if you get back to these chilly waters.
