wellllll.....after gitin up at 4am...to git to the detroit airport by 5am...for my flight ant 6:40 am....found out that my flight was cancelled....(look at play by play post)...waitted 3 hours for a new flight and itenaery..and after a layover in ft lauderdale.....ended up on the same plane as my brother (billie) flying in from california...3 seats ahead of him....an finally landed in key west airport....to bad my luggage didna make it with me all i had was my carry ons.....my pyrate hat....a seacoat(it was snowing when i left detroit)...and a fiddle i didna know how to play....for the first day at PiP...i was known as the "NAKID PYRATE"...just wearring me hat, coat and fiddle....you should have seen how i played that fiddle!!!!!

so...ok......woke up at 4ish....good....kissed the wife & duaghter goodbye....good....got to the airport by 5 ish for my 6:40 am flight...goog....figured there would be a explanation needed for all me gear...good.....no problem...couldnt fit all me gear... a bit heavy.....bad....wearring my hat and sea coat....good....had a luggage handler git me to the very front of the line...good.....found out my flight to keywest .... ...had been cancelled... ...bad...very bad they(northwest) sent me to delta...could still catch same time flight...good....only had a 1 baggage check policy....bad...(i got 2 heavy bags)....very bad.....sent me back over to northwest.....found a flght at 9:40am....good....now have a 3 hour wait....bad...but still gittin to keywest...good...very good.... since i had so many changes ....gott special picked for extra seceruity...bad....they performed a hands on check in my luggage....bad...had to explain the flintlocks...bad....swords...bad...knives...bad....boarding axes....bad...bad,...bad.....they looked up at me and said..."what, are you a pyrate???"....i said ...as i am standing there in my sea jacket and wearring a tricorn with plum clutching a fiddle....."nope"...."""just from Detroit...this is how everyone travels......."""" ......bad.... now after my quick cavity search.....dont think that guy was a real dentist....badbadbadbdabbad.........really bad........ive succesfully made it to te terminal....good.....now i just sit an wait.....3 hours....bad..... i wonder when the bar opens up????.....ahhhhh.....goood....

yo cheecky....i am leavin in the morn...6:30 fight from Port D-troit...madmary is leavin about the same time ffrom chicago....and poor poor Tiger Billie is already at the airport in L.A....flyin out about 12:01 am.... I'll be gitttin there about 12:30pmish...billie around 3pm...and madmary & hubby sometime that eveining from miami....... now lets see if i can just git everything i packed on board.....reallyreallyreally close to that darn weight restriction.....

just started to pack....loking for my mask & snorkel...(PADI certified)...thought id take a swim while i was down there and alll.....but now i cant find my mask & snorkel......might just have to buy another one....... do you know how difficult it is to find any, let alone decent mask,snorkel & fins....in Detroit.....in winter??????.....yeah we already got snow...its winter already...... with it already snowin here...maybe thinkin i should have just bought a ONE WAY ticket to key west

i kow, i know, i know...last minute and all...with some already there..... but add 2 more to the list of attendees.....all the way from colorado.....will be playing with the archangel crewe...who in turn will be playing with everyone else.....so anyway.... anybody know ...since too late to mail in registration...from colorado it wont git there now until after the event...folks can sign up when they git there???....right????

aye though ...i was still wearring me armour from the parade...no wind could move me...so i believe about three different pyrates strapped themselves to me!!!....until it started lightning...then everyone ran from me......though i wasn't quite sure why???

welll...ifn anyones havin trouble aging ther clothes....just let me or me brother wear at an event em at an event fer ...oh ...about an hour... ..nevr had trouble ruin stuff..... my trouble is tryin to keep stuff clean!!! mostly just use the same dinner habits as they did....wipe the guiness from yer beard with yer sleeve....wipe off the durty blackpowder residue off a yer weapon...with yer beard.....wipe yer beard off wit yer justacorps......wipe yer justacorp off wt yer britches......shine yer shoes wit...wit.....did i say beard again

ok...because i am flyin in....from D-troit to far to walk.....and my stuff is heavy.....i did leave some stuff in baltimore with the capn...to be hauled on down to the Keys.... small camp box...thought there would be plenty already there.....otherwise would have left more...... so any way..... we'll have a cast iron skillet....small cast iron pot....& a small dutch oven....tripod more than willing to serve up breakfast....simple fair really...some eggs bacon or sausage with feta cheese....makes the eggs taste better instead of salt.....and some biscuts on a stick....i call em hillbilly crosants..on a stick..(bring a stick) i'll bring the mixin stuff for a shepards pie one night.....but would need to stop at a grocery while down there...and i'll be more or less on foot the whole time there...... sooooo...... if anybody else brings a dutch or skillet or two.....a few fixins and a hat to pass around...we can use my hat.....and somethin for themselves to eat out of...... i see no reason we can't have a communal meal or three oh yeah.....married to a greek/macedonian.... so i got hooked on greek coffee... ..which is already packed in the camp box...acyually she got me turkish coffee....she said it was more period.....so if anybody feels adventerous.. .the pyrate coffee house will be open.....so bring a small cup...did i say small cup.....oh yeah thats right...i mean SMALL CUP...this stuff is TURKISH COFFEE.....not for the faint of heart...... plus afterwards i'll read the coffee grounds and tell ya yer fortune.... ..HA!
