  1. is there sumpthin us Beach boys otta know? has anyone ever laid nude on a Beach before? any laid under a Beach before? no wonder some of you gals sound familiar!!
  2. unfortunately for others (or maybe fortunatly) we prefer to hang those in our group...for obvious saftey reason...been practiced...and the rig pinches a little...a bruise to one of us, probably had it commin...to someone else we just met?...well we just don't want t hurt any feelings....tho any for our group could change sides/characters to fit nearly any scenario.....
  3. sounds like we could be bringin the whole red coat camp? is there room for all that....are we steppin on anyones toes if we sleep a bit a bit off from everyone else?...hope noone takes offense...we really don't care where we lay our heads down...as long as there is an open invitation to the drynk!!!...that was drynky drynk...not in the drynk....anyway...our camp is always welcoming , our fire is always warm, our drynks always full, and our mouths are always open...
  4. me personally gots a wall tent....plus a convertable wedge...can be made to be a lean to....billie has a wedge...marches have a wall.....plus a wedge i thinks...the kish tent is more a marquee...big.... aye capn...you gonna be able to hall all this? dunno how much i can carry on plane....converse with me privately to weigh options....
  5. 'course i had always heard tha most of the modern nautical lingo...came from the mis-pronuoncin of english terms.....boatswain to bo'sun....cockswain to cok'sun...and so on....most of the midshipmen woud ahve been irish, welsh and scottish...being that they had all the need for the jobs at the time...as well as lower class english...mix all that together...they were lucky to have understood anythin at all!...so it seems to me the piratical accent we so fondly think of today probably came from just bad grammer...and stuck...
  6. course most nicknames came from a derogatory remark from someone else...or a inside joke...then played off a name from there...ie Big Nosed Kate....tiny...Big Slim....Blackbeard...mine i got neearly 15 years ago...woke up after a night of drooling ...spittle in my goatee...everyone 'round the campfire said i looked like a damn mad dog...nickname stuck ever since...just added a name to explain...instead of just sayin that i gots me a droolin problem but i do agree that names are important....people will judge you by yer name...cant help it...thats just what we do....could always wait after a night of drynk...and jsut see what others end up callin ye...but then you might end up with "scuttle bucket jim"...or "ravin' mad jack"...hey...kinda like that last one.....
  7. not to be so bold...but i was just informed our crewe was showing up as pyrate hunters....someone needs to shoot back....anyway i see where the merchants are sleepin....the careenin camp...and the port royal camp....but i did a no see where we would be welcomed to lay oue weery heads at night...or sleep off a doozy in the day...are the red coats commin? by land or by sea?....nevermind...but where would we fit in better....still be able to participate accordingly...seems as if the capn is driving in...might be able to set up a bigger camp than previously expected...still in the works....any one with ideas? or did i miss where this was already disscussed?
  8. just got yer e-mail...consider it done...check is in the mail....no really!
  9. Thanxs mates for the poles....just heard that our capn (of the archangel) may just be driving down (from virginia)...the capn might be able to stow some of the crewes gear poles included...as long as i meet up with them before december....if thats the case might be bringin a bigger camp kit...more canvas and stuff to fil it!??!...i know the keys are a lot of sand on a lot of coral....hows the ground for stakes? do ye need to bring extra long or extra strong stakes? or should we just find a "new recruit" to stand there and hold the ropes for the night?
  10. Dear sir, as Lt. of the Marines for the Crewe of the Archangel...i would be remiss if i did not have a box for the belly as fine as this...plus can't have the "oher" Lt. march have all the cool stuff!.....one for me if you please...just let me know how to send funds. Mister Aluitious d'Dogge Lt. of the Marines (fomerly bosun) crewe of the Archangel
  11. I am sure that someone from the Archangel has already spoke fer me and me brother(rats or the capn)but this here be the official hand in for me and me brother....were a commin.... and no one can stop us....as long as the wife says its ok....and as long as billie dosent get cast in another pirate IV movie or anything...and the weather is nice....and nothing else is planned for that weekend...were a commin fer sure...we are invited right? the Damn Beach Boys
  12. for those of us flying in from the inland gulf states(michigan)...with tentage/tarps...how easy are tent poles/stakes/or various sticks can be rumaged from the nearby shores? Key west isn't exactly known for their forest...excet for the mangroves that is.....
  13. Dont worry about those pesky Man o' wars....got a sure fire remedy for whom ever gets entangled with one...a full bladder of beer/rum/grog from the night before...undo a few buttons....and there be the cure...im talkin about amonia...takes the sting out...only hard part is to keep the victim talked into keeping still long enough for a bunch of pirates to make water on them...trust me....
